I love how down to earth and real they are. They don't worry about being perfectionists which is why this is way more entertaining than an actual beauty guru. But if they keep purposefully trying to fail it loses the the effect and becomes just as forced as other beauty videos. That's why I love Beauty Tripping. It's less scripted, they give the treatments a fair shot, and we get to enjoy them actually trying new things and enjoying themselves.

I will say though the directions on two of the products especially the face mask were hilarious. You have to admit that hair thing they said don't use they are probably right about. Those as seen on tv hair contraptions never turn out how they are supposed to. It just looked like it was ripping her hair out.

The hair band thing can work with just a normal bandana and then you wrap your hair around it whilst its damp. Leave it in overnight and you'll get pretty good curls. I used to do it when I had longer hair.
