These are the dishes my family asks for every single year, they’re delicious comfort food classics straight out of my church cookbook and only you and me need to know how easy they are to make. Broccoli Casserole:

Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole:
Hash Brown Casserole
Mix together and spread into a sprayed 9 x 13 pan:
1 bag frozen hashbrowns (thawed)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 stick melted butter
1 medium onion
Sprinkle crushed corn flakes over potatoes and drizzle with melted butter, bake at 350 for 45 minutes. This can be prepped the night before just don’t add the corn flakes and melted butter until you are ready to bake.

Thanks Mel. Anything I can make ahead of time the better the day of thanksgiving is for me. Usually I get stuck cooking in the kitchen while everyone else is watching football in the family room. Then they eat , I clean up and then their off to the next family. Lol. Now I can make ahead and spend time with the family.

Mel, tonight for dinner I made Aunt Cathy's Cowboy Beans with cornbread, coleslaw and BBQ spare ribs. OMG those beans were AHHHHmazing, and cornbread was good too. Here in Canada, Cornbread Mix is hard to come by so I made my own from a recipe I found online and tried it. It got raves from my family. But the beans were so good. I can't thank you enough for introducing me to that deliciousness.

I make my broccoli casserole very similar except I use cream of broccoli or broccoli and cheese soup instead of the mushroom. I also use cubed up velveeta and add a sleeve of cracker crumbs to the mix. It's definitely one of my family's favorites. I do my sweet potato casserole exactly the same way as well as my corn casserole. Yum!! Happy Thanksgiving!!! 🦃🥧🤤

These all look delicious! I would love to see a video on the logistics of making all these dishes and serving them warm together with the holiday meats. I was looking at buying some buffet warmers to hold everything. Any tips would be great!

I do have a convection oven so I can bake all my casseroles at the same time just pulling them out as needed. And I cook my meat first then my casseroles. I do love those warmers I think that would be a really nice thing to have.
