3:10 ,sir if supposes two atom are in different size,what will be the radius,it won't come correctly know sir if we divide by two,then what to do sir?

For example. Different size atoms.The covalent bond length of HCl is 136pm. Covalent radius of hydrogen atom(H-H) is 37pm , covalent radius of chlorine atom (Cl-Cl) is 136pm so if you need covalent radii of chlorine atom just subtract 136-37 = 99pm of chlorine atom.

Sir what is the difference btw covalent radius and vanderwaals radius. Covalent radius is the measuring in bonded atoms.. And vanderwaals radius is the measuring in non bonded atoms right. Please make it clear sir
