I like how Eddie's career after the competitions became "what if we subjected this very large man to X or Y" lmao
@qwopiretyu
@qwopiretyu 9 ай бұрын
Isn't that cuz he didn't know how to fight? He was always a personality moreso than an athlete. Not trying to take away from his strongman career. Simply an observation that Eddie here does more press, more socials, more non-strongman activities than his competitors.

He didn’t have it pulled in tight to his shoulder to begin with, which is key when shooting heavy caliber firearms. My 130 pound nephew can shoot my .458 quite well, and doesn’t fear it, because he tucks it in tight. He also wears a heavy hunting jacket, which helps! A prolific African professional hunter(W E D Bell I believe was his name) was known for using a 6.5 Mannlicher in the early 1900s to successfully drop elephants with. Though he did use solids instead of jacketed bullets and shot placement is critically important, but he was very successful in taking huge numbers of elephants with what most even very good hunters would never consider using.
