Never apologize for how you look, you are hard workers and clothing always reflects that. I am so thrilled I found your channel.

I'd guess they used darker tiles for the diamond, you can see a fairly clean zig-zag edge in some spots. I love that kind of tile, they're the traditional roofing material round here (eastern Austria) too! All old houses had them at some point but nowadays they're pretty rare because they need to overlap so much compared to interlocking tiles.

It is stunning! Brings tears to my eyes, too. Sorry saw your most recent vlog (7/8) and understand the emotional connection. It is simply beautiful. I am looking forward to a year's worth of episodes. Your music is terrific! I see, the arched feature is not bread oven. Before you touch the sluicegate, check with the French Water Police. $$$$

(Moira Ashton) WOW! I've found you by chance, how come I haven't seen these videos before? I LOVE watching the Chateau videos and vlogs that are on... so looking forward to watching your progress! You certainly have a lot of work ahead of you, your videos I've not seen yet, I'm going to "binge" watch tomorrow.. yes you definitely need goats for those brambles, ( not Billies though they smell terrible) we had a goat years ago when we lived in Wales she soon cleared the brambles...Love that downpipe!!! Stay cosy in your tent, great bespoke kitchen, 😊💗💕

Yes the downpipe is gorgeous, glad your enjoying the videos. We have spoken to the farmer about goats so hopefully they will be here soon 😁

oo yes ive seen those downpipes in a lot of towns, so beautiful but in a house they will just flood the grassy area lol in the wet season! In the towns they usually lead out to cobblestones that then flow to a street drain

you need to get goats for your brambles. They will clear them in a few days!!
@ChateauDeMontmagner4 жыл бұрын
We are hoping to get some, we just need to get the stables and piggeries cleared so we can house them x 👍
@aurorad35224 жыл бұрын
pigmy goats are easier to handle, and they are surprisingly affectionate creatures

In U.S. people rent large herds of goats to clear land. They come with shepherds for water and electric fencing and to watch over them. Other people use Livestock Guardian Dogs to be the shepherds. They buy electric fencing, use a solar battery to charge it. Goats hate to get wet, so won't cross water, and would love a roof when it rains.

Get some pigs and goats for the bramble patch, they will clear that quick as a flash. Also it will supply you with pork. 💖🇦🇺

The farmer has some goats about to be born so hopefully when they are ready to leave their parents we will have some.... As long as she has nanny's, 😁

I will come and help you if you want. As soon as the UK eases the lockdown, I am having my first covid jab on Weds! I can cook, clean, paint, shop and cut grass. Would need a bed and a shower and a hot meal but can muck in wherever needed. Julie.🙂

What a wonderful adventure you are both on! Good on you for putting your heart into such a restoration! As for the bramble field - I don't know if you have anything like this near you but according to friends who have cleared acres of gorse bushes with this, it is a game changer - www.steepmow.co.nz/ I am looking forward to hearing what you know of the history of the property and will definitely be following your progress. Congratulations and bon courage!
