The details are reay great to hear good teachers. I like how relevant this is to someone with a jiu jitsu background. It's not just shots and meta wrestling.

Some meta wrestling but not just shots.

This is upper-body wrestling. That's like 1/2 of stand-up wrestling.
@davisbarr9112

@@kallepikku4991 Yeah I'm with you you're right. Technically it's just creating that shot so it's meta wrestling. Upper body creating the ability to shoot. So that's fair. But it created that shot within a clinch as well ... so it's also relevant for more also! I jiu jitsued wrestlers and my school won state in our area wrestling so they were good but at that age I wasn't ready to handle wrestling. I was mostly tall lanky and bone in high school. I filled out later that was my curse. I don't have that problem anymore. So instead I learned fighting and fought a lot, like street fought. It's whatev that's what I did. I couldn't have cut weight I wasn't short or small but I also wasn't huge either it was a really inconvenient size to be.

In my utmost humble opinion. Sublime content as always, and the benefit of these specific takedowns is that they enable oneself to maintain top position or even remain standing for follow up strikes if need be, especially when concerning self defense altercations where falling can be an high risk detrimental factor for both defender/ attacker. Sincere appreciations for sharing and enabling all of us the honor to observe and learn from such peers as yourselves. Sincere regards. Fellow Martial Artist. Tom Framnes. Norway.

Dudes, idk that I've been able to take moves and apply them immediately in training from anyone else online like I have with y'all. Hopefully I'll be hitting some of these when I'm back in class shortly :) Much love!

Upperbody wrestling is great for MMA and fighting in general. But really for is old folks, it's just a relieve from constantly having to bend over. I find myself wrestling up-right much more as I get older.

Great stuff as always! Options from every position is killer, I’ve noticed. If you always have an A, B and a C that work together from a position, you don’t have to be as good at the A, B or C to make it work. Which is great for me 😅

The guy that owns the clinch usually owns the fight. Boxing ends in clinch, wrestling stalls in clinch. It is an underrated position.

we call that Sasae Tsurikomi Ashi in Judo when you trip him/her at the foot, you can also drill a Hize Guruma by putting your foot at the knee as you spin them around they're both great throws

He’d be propping against the far leg as opposed to the near leg he bumps in his technique if he were doing Sasae tsurikomu ashi or Hiza Guruma.
