That's pretty cool Tim. Did you have to add oil to the crankcase since there are metal against metal movement to the engine? Isn't it nice to work on an engine without getting your hands all oily and greasy and smelling like gas? Good video Tim.

I hate to ask a question like one's standard idiot on a youtube page. I understand the very, very basic Internal Combustion Unit theory....but why have camshafts up where the head gasket goes? What am I missing? Other than that, that is one heckuva cool engine display!

That is a engine that has a double overhead cam design.. it is much more efficient than an overhead valve design that you're thinking of...

I have seen more realistic model engines that work with some type of fuel. They are only for adults, get really hot.
