Thanks for the comment, very appreciated! The monkeys were really captivating and turned out to be some of the best shots from the whole trip I think.

Great video! You started in Kamikochi. What route did you hike from there? Could you tell me where you stayed overnight? We would like to hike the route in this summer.

Thanks! We did start in Kamikochi, but to be honest I forget where we slept each night. We didn’t really follow a strict itinerary, but thankfully there are huts at regular intervals along the way that offer food and camping. Sorry I can’t be of more help, it feels like ages ago that we were there!

Would you mind sharing the route or something like itinerary for this hike? 😊

Hey there! There’s a bunch of guides for this route online that might serve you well. Our itinerary was pretty standard, and slightly adjusted to weather. Maybe here’s a good place to start? www.go-nagano.net/en/trip-idea/id19381

Does anybody know what are the best seasons for this hike? Is it safe a November ?
@EarthRunner2 ай бұрын
Fall, around late September into October, I think is really popular time to hike due to the colours and the fact that there usually isn’t snow yet. November would could be quite cold up there and probably less predictable conditions, but I am sure it could be lovely as long as you’re prepared and know the forecast!

Hey what season is this in?
@EarthRunner2 ай бұрын
Late September, which was around the end of summer or start of fall for that year. We were hoping for some fall colours but were a few weeks early I think!
