One of the best Prague videos. Thank you for your honest opinion on tourist traps like Lennon Wall and Dancing House. We have been in Prague twice already i the last 10 years (short trips) and planning for another next year. Always great to get new ideas. So much to see. Cheers. . . 🖖

Craft beer isn't really my thing, although I have never had a bad one here in Prague. My friends and I pretty much only drink tank Pilsner. Sometimes tank Hoegaarden, though. Even Staropramen here is good. I'm not sure Czechs can make bad beer.

The craft brewery we tried is worth going to if you're in Prague, but you're right! All the Czech beer we had was fantastic!

AHOJ FROM PRAGUE!!! ,thanky for a nice video. To be honest I really do not like any beer fr7om Dva Kohouti - its NOT a czech style beer at all. I am really very nice surprised that you like Větrník (wyetrnyeek) = wind mill in enaglish - its one my favourite Czech deserts - its Czech classic. You skipped both a lot of touristic and non touristic places - so see you next time. Best time to visit is since (end of) May till September. Prague is very dynamic city - so if you return not next year but 2-3 or even more years from now - it will be totally different and way more expensive city... What you skipped (all in city centre) - Vyšehrad castle/americans call it fortress/, and city parts Josefof (jewish town), Malá Strana (Lesser Town or Small Side), Smíchov and its brewery tour - Staropramen beer, Vinohrady (perfect neighberhood), Žižkov - old part, Vřšovice - old part, and Holešovice -Letná districts, Skipper must see real architecture beauties - National Museum, National theatre, Rudolfinum opera house,State opera house, Old b=uilding of main railway station - the lagets Art Nuveau style in the country (no chance to get full building on one photo - and unigue inside and outside renovation!!!, Masarykovo Nádraží (Masaryk railway station) the oldest in Prague, Ministery of7 transportation on the river bank - originaly built as a place style ministery of state railways in 1920´s... WORLD LARGEST HORSE STATUE - Jan Žižka horse statue monument on the top of Vítkov hill in Žižkov district - with stunning wiew in the central Prague, side walks - unique small 7x7 cm tone side walk mosaiks tipical for Prague - there is a unique mosaic pattern in from of every house within any single one street..! And typical Czech delis and patries, salads, and any other food... WORLD LARGEST STADIUM on the Strahov hill (even larger than Maracaná stadium in Brazil) - already 100 years old - now traing centre of footbal club AC Sparta Prague Longest tram network in whole EU (3rd longest in the world after 2nd slightly longer Budapest (double population) and 1st in Moscow (but population 15 milions - same population like Czech republic) - to compare Prague has only 1,3 milion population - so logest in the world per capita) and every year countinously increasing its lenght!! Prague public transport system is considered as one of the best in the world - officialy 2nd best aftrer Paris (but our is hell better and hell cleaner and hell safer than in Paris) Czech republic is long time raniked in TOP 10 safest places in the world - usually 6-7th possition Prague ZOO is amamzing - long time ranked among top in Europe Acording to CNN and many more sources - Prague Chritmass markets are in TOP 10 in the world!! Regarding Christmass - in Prague every square has its own christmass tree - of course the largest and most beautifull is in the Old Town Square.. Love christmass outside lightning on selected Prague trams daily normally operated - see UT videos. Regarding metro (subway) - 3 lines, 56 stations, čthnline under construction - will be fully automatic=wthout drivers!! Plannned costs 4 billion Euro / 5 Billion US Dollars - for gthe first 7-station section (hell expensive - but the city needs it) impoertant fact - every year is 1 or 2 metro stations closed for r7enovation and building lifts for wheel chair passangers and moms with baby carriges - its very deep here i prague - so every lift do digg and built costs in average 3-4 milions Euros/ 4-5 milions US Dollars (lift plus transfer corridor plus 2nd lift down to the platform) - yeah the city invest enormous money into the maintenance and upgrading of the exist8ing metro sttaions stations - buit the result is always preally very good!!! The city has been building brand new double track railway line from Masaryk station to the airport (half distance must be in deep tunnels under the very poshy villa neighberhood - expected costs another 4 billions EURO / 5 Billion US Dollars... (now operarted by br7and new 3-section Trolleybusses (very long) to neerest metro station - oper7ating in peek times every 2-3 minutes) And many more thinsg - the city also invest enormous money into maintenance of roads, bridges and side walks, squares, parks, tram-track-lines and bus and tram stops... And many more interresting and important things for common happy life.

The Lennon wall was whitewashed years ago, the original art is all gone, so nothing special to see anymore.
@MYTravelBF5 ай бұрын
Thank you for the insight! We agree that it wasn't really worth seeing, yet a lot of people still go.
@stevemcgowen5 ай бұрын
@@MYTravelBF It has a history many don't know. Long before it was the Lennon Wall it was the Love Wall, where students mostly would write notes about peace and love on the wall. It wasn't until 1980, I think, when a mural of John Lennon was painted on the wall and a rainbow, and it became the Lennon Wall.

@@MYTravelBF Cerveny Jelen- Red Stag, is a newish hot spot in Prague. Great food, atmosphere, tank beer. The Kolkovna restaurants are good for cheaper, traditional food to accompany beer- tank beer, as well. Plzensky at Andel is also one of my favorites. They also have tank beer. Really, so many good places.

IMO Prague is so overrated. Staring at a clock? Staring at a bridge? Staring at a wall? Czech food isn’t that good. Buildings are dirty with graffiti and plastered. They look nice from a distance but low quality up close. Krakow is SO much better. Copenhagen is SO much better, etc.
@MYTravelBF4 ай бұрын
Thank you for the suggestion on Copenhagen! Maybe we'll have to head there next so we can compare ourselves! Thanks for watching!

you know noething about Prague - see my longer comment. Copenhagen = big disappointment, noething to see, t8otally vasted money and time Krakow - nice square and few streats aroud - the rest out of the touristic bubble is mostly dirty broken disaster. Prague looks amazing and clean in every district - very dynamic city rapidly changing every year!
