4 dead, 1 critically injured in fiery freeway crash

A deadly three-vehicle crash on State Route 76 killed four individuals Friday night, prompting the closure of the highway in North County, Cal Fire officials said.

Even in a grocery store I have seen people stopped in the middle of a shopping aisle, texting and talking on their cell phones while others are backed up behind and have to go around them while they are obsessed with their cellphones. How stupid can one be ??? If you want to chit-chat on your cell phone get the hell out of a grocery store aisle. Some people feel they are self important and can't wait till they leave the store to chit-chat. IDIOTS !

His tone was gentle and concerning, as those who knew the deceased would likely be watching it. No one wants to report things like this, it's sad and tragic. I remember in 2013 when I lived on a state route where it merges to 1 lane from 2.. I woke up to what was like an explosion.. and a semi crushed a passenger car.. a young woman was inside that car who accidentally went left of center (head on collision) She died instantly. I ran outside and thankfully others were already there (it was an eerie quiet calm) and as I approached, someone said you don't want to go over there, help is already on the way. Later on, I remember seeing a young woman there at the crash site a week or so later where there was a small memorial on the telephone pole.. (it was her sister) I stopped my car and went out and told her I was sorry for her loss, gave her a hug and kind of wept with her and said there was nothing I could do as the crash woke me up.. I felt the least I could do was empathize with her and let her know I cared. I think this reporter is doing the same thing.. he is trying to empathize and show concern and respect while reporting the story.

Legally and by contract the tow company is supposed to remove ALL debris I know that is fact because my brother did this for a living so does my neighbor it's not only littering but some items pose a hazard I myself last year had to help a tow driver clean up next day after a accident he left so much crap behind people complained they almost got fired and lost the contract which is a very lucrative and coveted contract to land and not easily obtained.
