@@HowDoYouCookBackToBasics A quick follow up…we had a very close friend, Mr. Hariston a retired city bus driver from New Jersey, that moved to South Georgia to get away from the cold Winters up North, I suppose. He made Salmon patties (except that he called them Croquettes) and froze them in batches and if you were someone that he really liked, he would give you a portion of them to take home. I asked him one day what his secret was (they were fabulous btw) and he said that it was all in the preparation. He listed his ingredients and then added: “It takes two hours of love.” He was an exceptional human being and a great cook!!❤️

I like the broccoli cheese soup. I usually make it like yours but I don't use milk just broth and water. if it needs thickened, I use instant potatoes. I also make potato broccoli cheese soup using instant potatoes

The broccoli is my favorite. Never had the others but will be trying them. Soup weather is upon us soon and I love soup since I'm single and it makes many meals easy. 👍💋♥️✌🇺🇸🙏
