4 DIY HOME DECOR PILLOWS

Hey loves, I thought it would be fun to do something a little different, I did 4 DIY Home decor pillows for you. Since I recently got a sewing machine, I've been trying out new things so I wanted to share with you my recent decorative pillow creations.
Measurement: (I have a kind size bed). Sized may need to be adjusted if you have a smaller bed.
- Pillow 1: 50'' length x 10.5'' height
- Pillow 2: 30'' length x 30'' height
- Pillow 3: 47'' length x 20'' height
- Pillow 4: 22'' length x 13'' height

So excited to see someone else use canvas drop cloths for pillow covers! I have been working on some of my own and I love your last one incorporating the yarn braiding. I have considered this as well as some simple embroidery.

A ladder or blind hem stitch would be more seamless and invisible for your pillows, but they are just Fabulous!!!

My mom and I used to make pillows and did the same thing. Buying cheap bed pillows and using the stuffing is the best. We also used a small wooden dowel to push out the corners and to push the stuffing into the corners. I love using cool placemats, outdoor fabric and even clothing that I thrift to make pillows. Old jeans make great pillows too.

Just a little advice: If you want all 4 corners to look the same, just sew them all and leave an opening in te middle to stuff the pillow. Love them all❤️

The zig zag stitch is good to,prevent ravelling. You can even go overit more than once. I love sewing by the way!! Your fan Linda!!🪡🤗

Awesome as always , you can place your pins horizontally and sew over them no problem then remove them. The needle is not going to break because it goes over the pin.

This video came at the perfect time.....I received a stack of designer fabric samples...perfect size for pillow fronts....I never thought about getting the painters drop cloth for the backing....Fantastic!!.......Beautiful job on your pillows...Love, Love, Love......✌️💜💋

Use a ladder stitch and it will be invisible and blend in with the other seams

Love these pillows, great job as always. Love ALL your DIYs. Little sewing tip, when you have a double fabric, like your last pillow, if you put a piece of cardbord or thick paper, you can pin without crunching up the side. The pin wont go through to the back side, if that makes sense. Always look forward to your DIYs. Stay safe.
