I have used Jiffy Baking mix instead of Bisquick for over 50 years. Jiffy is less expensive and the results are the same. When making Bo Berry Biscuits, I throw in a bit more sugar. So yummy.

love using bisquick in recipes , but take it from me the key to getting red lobster biscuits is a seasoning called ''old bay'' u need to add that maybe a tsp to the mix before baking you will get the red lobster version!!! had family that worked in red lobster ... and that is what she told me so give that a try next time u try it , and the blueberry ones reminded me of a scone ... so i will def be making them !!! bo jangles i think is mainly in the south , im in upstate ny and have never seen them here or anywhere in the north , so i think its a southern thing, we have kfc here for chicken ... great video Mandy , thx for sharing these recipes with us all ~~

Mandy, For those Cheddar Bay Biscuits, I add in 1 tsp of garlic powder into the biscuit mix and a little parsley. I then add garlic and parsley to butter to brush over the top. Also, I use my stand mixer to incorporate my sausage balls. Works perfectly. Use the dough hook. 🙌

I love bisquick recipes!!! Just a suggestion when you have to mix up the sausage balls dump it all in a stand mixer it makes it so much easier. For the last 30 years I've been making the standard recipe for holiday breakfasts but going up to 5x each batch (my guys love them). I started making them and making the guys mix them up in ziplock bags but the mixer works faster and sometimes the bags bust especially when the gutta start horsing around and throwing them at each other lol.

Those blueberry biscuits look amazing. I think lots of lemon zest (2-3 T) and and about 1/8 cup lemon juice replacing some if the buttermilk would be amazing. And the glaze made with fresh squeezed lemon juice and powdered sugar would add to the lemon/blueberry flavor. I'm big into fresh lemon right now. It add so much freshness and something special to jazz up an old recipe.
