4 Easy Dump Cakes, Each With Their Own Twist~ Baking Marathon

CHERRY DUMP CAKE
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple
1 yellow Cake mix
1 stick of butter or more if needed
Assemble per video instructions
CHOCOLATE DUMP CAKE
1 stick of butter
1 chocolate cake mix
1 box of instant chocolate jello mix
1 & 1/2 cups of milk
1 12oz bag chocolate chips
Assemble per video instructions
LEMON DUMP CAKE
2 cans of lemon pie filling
2 boxes of yellow Cake mix
1 8oz cream cheese
1 or more sticks of butter
Assemble per video instructions
APPLE DUMP CAKE
2 cans of apple pie filling
1 yellow Cake mix
1 or more sticks of butter
Assemble per video instructions
Cook in slow cooker on high for 2 & 1/2 hours.
Bake 1st 3 cakes at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes

Would definely love all four varieties of the dump cakes. When my Dad was living he would totally loved the "Apple Dump Cake". He loved apples. Wanted to ask You and Pastor B's prayers as I go through a biopsy on my left kidney too determine if, it may have to removed. Without trying them of course, I’m going to say my favorite would be the pineapple-cherry one. I can tell you though, without trying them, that the chocolate would be my absolute least favorite. I hate making dump cakes because they normally require pads of butter on top. The butter never covers the top well and, as a result, the finished product has dry spots. I really liked the first one where you mixed melted butter with the cake mix. That would make a much better topping. I like the lemon one with the cream cheese. All four are very interesting.

I sometimes use a large bag of frozen mixed berries, the the vanilla cake mix, top with a cube of sliced butter. Serve with vanilla icecream ❤️. Or change out a chocolate cake mix with the canned cherries for a chocolate cherry Forrest cake ❤️
