I'm surprised you haven't bought a carpet cleaner yet. It's one of the best home investments I ever made, I have one made by Bissell. When my kids were still crawling, and we had two large dogs, I cleaned my carpets at least every other month. There's nothing quite as satisfying as watching your carpets change color when you clean them!

@@racheltalbott It's been about 10 years, but I believe it was around $250. It definitely pays for itself after just a few uses. I have the ProHeat Clean Shot 2x. I don't know if it's still available or not. I definitely recommend Bissell. A friend bought a carpet cleaner after borrowing mine, but got a Hoover because of research sure had done. Well, a few months later she was back to borrowing mine because hers didn't last.

Flower tip - Put a dash of vinegar and a teaspoon of sugar in the water. The acid base (vinegar or even bleach) will kill bacteria such as psuedomonis and your flowers will last three times as long! The sugar acts as food for the flowers and they love it to stay vibrant. Change the water every few days and snip the ends each time.

Love the idea for the disposal. I'm always pouring vinegar and lemon essential oil down mine so it makes sense to put it together in a cube!

I was just thinking about your cleaning videos when I cleaned my home last weekend. It does feel so good once everything is nice and clean again. I did hear that it isn't recommended to use vinegar in the dishwasher because it's too harsh. I usually stick to baking powder/soda or lemon

I used to do the lemon/ice cube trick for the garbage disposal, but my plumber said that’s actually too harsh for the blades and will shorten the life of your disposal. He said it’s only meant to be used for tiny pieces of food that fall into it. Just wanted to share since the replacement can be quite pricey.

Woo! 🎃 Fall cleaning videos! We have that same Biokleen carpet clean shampoo. Love their stuff. 😊 I’m afraid to see what level of dirt would come out of our carpet. Hey! Great video these are so relaxing and motivating to watch :) I'm also surprised you haven't bought a carpet steamer. I had no clue you could rent from Lowe's thats so cool! But I have found some that cost around 100 dollars which seems cheaper in the long run than paying 30 dollars every time. Excited for Fall videos!

Hey just a tip! Make sure you take off the leaves that touch the water in your arrangement because the leaves can poison the water/ make your arrangements die sooner!
