We know two members of just Payne directly and they're both among the most loyal of all people in the story. Ser Ilyn literally lost his tongue speaking in favour of the Lannisters and started loyal to them. House Payne are underrated and a really good example of the unreliable narration taking event by how they always viewed so negatively.

Hahaha honestly I'm just gonna assuming the characters we didn't clearly see die survived... it'd be kind of bizarre if they just open episode 4 and are like "oh yeah Brienne, Pod, Tormund, etc. are dead, lol"

It took me three watch-throughs to keep track of people and even then, I ended up losing track a few times lol. Pod primarily stuck close to Jaime, who acted very much like a protector for him and Brienne, but mostly for Pod because, well, Brienne can CLEARLY handle her own. This isn't saying that Pod isn't capable, of course, but I think that Jaime thought the idea of losing Pod would devastate Brienne. Of course, he cared very deeply for her and knew what such a loss would do so he protected the squire, often putting himself between Pod and the wights. After the battle, Jaime and Brienne are seen standing next to each other and if you look closely, Pod is standing just slightly behind Jaime's left shoulder. I also deeply love Podrick so I could be reading into this theory too much

Pod had honor, he saved Tyrion at blackwater rush after one of Joffreys lackeys tried to take him out. Pod was a good squire who was loyal to Brienne who later is knighted by Jaime.

Podrick is such a tragic character, in both the show and the books. He gets treated like an unwanted child and all he wants is somewhere to belong. Also, when we first see Pod in the show, he appears like an older teenager or young adult... somewhere between 17 and 20, which makes sense considering Dan Portman was nineteen at the time. He very well could have passed for 16 or 17. In the character's ASOIAF wiki page, his date of birth is listed as 286AC or 287AC. The first phase of The War of Five Kings began in 300AC and lasted until 303AC. Now, this would have made Pod at least 13 or 14 at the start of the war and we know he entered Tyron's services prior to Battle of the Blackwater, which was in 299AC and would have made Pod 12 or 13. So, it we're assuming the Pod we meet in the beginning of s2 is roughly 16 or 17, his date of birth would have to be at least 282AC or 283AC, moving his original date by four years. Also, he and Sansa are the exact same age in the book
