Hi mam..thanks for the recipes ..very useful ..just one doubt..in finger fries recipe,do the sweet potatoes get cooked inside too by just shallow frying?I thought only the outer layer will get crisp or browned but not inside ..

Inside will be cooked but will take time. Cook on medium heat until done (keep flipping now and then). If you deep fry, it will take few minutes only but I do not prefer to deep fry.

Mam I saw your cast iron dosa tawa .... But still confused with cast iron and iron tawa... If I Go with cast iron about whats the thickness to select.. Do reply

Select heavy tawas. Though cast iron is costly, it will last for generations, if seasoned and cared properly. Except one all my tawas are cast iron.
