Keep a log with dates and times of what he did & said, when said neighbor obstructs your ability to enjoy your property by disturbing the peace. We set up a voice-activated recorder so that when the neighbor accosts you, it will be captured for future use with the police or in court. Wish you much success!

Do what “Abraham” says. Write a list of positive aspects of neighbor and focus on them. Work on being happy in other ways too. If you do this consistently, the neighbor will either be nice to you, he or she won’t be able to help it, or they will disappear from your life somehow. This really works. It happened to me several times - one person changed and started being nice to me no matter how he treated anyone else, and two critical and nosy neighbors moved away one time in quick succession. They both went to my church too so they could have been a real annoyance but i was too happy and busy to get invested in their drama. And then all the sudden neither one was in my life anymore.
