Thanks for all the great content. If you feel like trying something new, consider live crickets on unweighted hooks (small) on tenkara. Deadly and exciting topwater for sunfish and bass (especially dusk & dawn). They can't resist the kicking. Anyway, I appreciate all your videos and dedication. Tight lines.

So I live in a rural area in ohio Preble county) and I fish the creeks every year (catch and release) unless I'm taking bait for catfish at my local rivers. This year over the past three has been completely different. The rains have really flattened most areas the (pan fish) and most bass would be sitting out completely. I mean I haven't caught many fish worth any this year. Its like they just moved on to the main river channels is my guess. I'm sure this happens because last year we were in a drought and the fish couldn't really move out of the creeks. My plan next year is to fish the rivers at all the creak mouths that meet the river. Thank you so much for the great content and entertainment. Good luck always and stay blessed brother. Praying for bent rods!

Awesome video we live in nc and the buffalo here usually stay more on the main lake they go towards the dam in the main channel starting September in huge numbers the yellow will stay shallow all year those are nice yellows good video we catch buffs this time of the year in 10 to 20 ft of water . You will catch a stragler anywhere from time to time but they bunch up in huge numbers . When you get on buffs we rarely catch yellows . Yellows are fun also so as long as you having fun that's all that matters
@andrewcable60164 ай бұрын
Hey buddy, another tip for trying to catch buffalo, they usually prefer deeper rocky areas 10-25ft so being in those shallow creeks probably explains why buffalo are super rare catches for you. Also putting bait directly on your hook hampers your rigs ability to hook fish, you still catch some obviously but you'll have a lot more bites that don't hook up. It's a pain in the butt to do every time but using 1 fake corn with a worm under it on the hair is extremely effective and is banned in tournament fishing because of how good it is for buffalo specifically. Hope you get on a good bite, I want to see you with a 40+ good fishing!

Now, you're getting it. I use all kinds of fruit in my pack bait. I've surprisingly caught large blue cats with fruit. I use things like nuts, seeds and raisins in my pack bait. I usually use fake corn or tiger nuts (Chulla seeds, boiled and flavored) on a hair. It stays on the whole session.

Your middle rod getting all the love cause your repacking. Do the same with other rods after 30 min. The pack bait falls off pretty quickly depending on your mixer and attach the hook to pack bait the hook up ratio will increase for sure. Thanks for sharing your adventures. So you’ve said before that the average watch time on these uncuts is higher than your edited videos. And because of that KZbin is recommending these to more people leading to a higher view count. Click through rate is also a huge factor and I have no idea which has a better one.
@KayakCatfish4 ай бұрын
Click through rate doesn’t matter as much as people think
@theglidingglacier4 ай бұрын
@@KayakCatfish you have a point. I’ve been looking through the analytics on a different channel I have and the click through rate doesn’t seem to dictate how well the video does very much. There was one video that blew up (under 1k views, nothing crazy but way better than my other videos) and the view duration wasn’t abnormal. BUT the view duration in the first 24 hours was way up, thus leading to a ton of impressions for the first 2 weeks then the video stopped getting views. This would apply to these uncuts as the subscribers give them tons of view time on the first day.

I made a trailer with double bunks on it like a double jet ski trailer. The hatches are terrible about leaking. I put some foam window seal on them and fixed the problems. Think the new ones they fixed the problem. Don't think you would like it. It's more like fishing from a boat, you don't get the feel of the bite when they hit it. But in my case sitting down would be like the commercial " I've fallen and can't get up " 😅😅😅
