I would like to say thank you for tipping housekeeping. During my second life I found myself being a manager for DT. After a few years I was diagnosed with HL and I was going through chemo. While working one day, a customer pulled me aside and said that someone had made a mess in the women’s room. I walked in and was immediately hit with a fowl odor and suddenly had the urge to hurl. First stall….someone had a blowout that covered the stall walls, floor, block wall behind the toilet and the entire front of the toilet, top to bottom, as well as the seat. I hurled in the toilet of the next stall and then I had to clean up the nasty stall. There was actually a bucket filled with cleaning supplies, gloves and a mop 4 feet away. Wish they had at least tried to clean their mess up or left a tip. Anyone who has gone through chemo, knows. 😢

Justin, You need to make a trip to Sandusky to fish on April 8th. You can make a 3 or 4hr Raw and Uncut Total Solar Eclipse Catfishing video. Sandusky will be in the area of totality. It would be really cool to see how the catfish bite is affected. I think totality will be around 3:12 pm there with the total event starting 90 minutes before and ending 90 minutes after. With sunset occurring at 8:04 PM it is like you will get a dusk, dawn, and another dusk over a 6 hour period. Could also do an edited video or even a livestream. Would be awesome to see you sporting a pair of Kayak Catfish Eclipse Glasses. Another option would be the Ohio River between Paducah Kentucky and Cairo Illinois. Totality there would be around 1:59 pm. The solunar calendar is already showing as excellent fishing (96%) for both locations on that day. They are calling this a once in a lifetime event and a catfishing video from this would be epic!

Used to fish on the Chattahoochee River down on the Georgia Alabama border back in the 80s when I was in Uncle Sam's School of Shoeshine. Loved those foggy cool days. It beat the heck out of those hot 100 degree days with a 100 percent humidity.

Justin ….. I almost had “That Day”…..Started watching your video on Thursday night. I went fishing Friday morning and was not feeling right. I came home around noon slept all day Friday. I went fishing on Saturday morning and instantly began to feel dizzy, my mouth went dry, I started sweating and my heart was pounding. I packed up and rushed myself to the hospital. After 3 hours in the hospital, it was determined I did NOT have a heart attack, just a bad panic attack. lol after I got home, I continued watching your video. That’s all I thought about In the hospital😅. Again not looking for any sympathy from anyone, I chose to work police work. My point to you and all others reading this, is to enjoy everyday and be have a positive influence on life. It’s 3:26pm on Saturday and My sedation is wearing off. I will be going fishing at 6pm tonight!

I work midnights. When I get home I grab a snack, my Ipad and some bourbon. These long, non clickbait or overly dramatic videos are how I'm able to slow down mentally and relax enough to sleep when the birds are having a rock concert outside my window or whatever they're doing. Not to mention what these videos may provide to the socially isolated or physically impaired individuals. These are great.

I tried to be a fishing partner. Right after you hooked a double at the creek mouth, I said to you "hit the spot lock" because I realized that there was no longer a rig to keep moving to avoid snagging and you did not need to pull against the motor's moving the kayak along. . Moments afterward, you did precisely that.

Me and friends have fished Pic-Wick for many years and have landed many catfish in the 30 - 50 lbs range. We used live bream close to Wilson dam. Where the water spills inside the hole in the dam especially. 90% of them were flatheads. I know it’s dangerous being that close to the dam in kyack. We use John boats. We also caught some large blues in the blow out of the lock.

I’ve used basically the same rig except I drag a crawdad style fly behind it. The only thing I do is I put a crappie peg float on the other side of my cut bait. If you pushed it up by your fly it would look like a jig head for it.

Coworker had a pair of boxers full grown on a perimeter electric shock fence.. no wires just a box that you dial in a distance say 250 yards or 125 yards and a shock collar. The dog learns the barrier. The collar beeps a warning or shock till closer to the box. They learn the beep fast I heard and the dog owners couldn't be happier with it. Just passing along an idea thanks for the full fish vids, I bet they tick up in views with warmer water action

Technology progressively adds layers of complexity with declining increase in value added and greater likelihood of some component within the complex system failing.. At some point we"d see the intersection in the lines on the graph where the rate of added value no longer justifies the added frustration. You have spoken about your appreciation for simplicity. Profit-making generates progressivity increasing complexity as each "advancement" motivates us to upgrade and spend more money. Simplicity fails to generate extra revenue. It does preserve a desirable quality of life. Complexity erodes quality of life. I concur with your preference for the calm, relaxing quality of simplicity.

Talk about getting a whooping. When I was in a custody battle for my kids. The Judge asked my son 11 at the time why he wanted live with me, and the Judge as him cause your Daddy lets you play and goof off all the time. He told the Judge you don't know my Daddy, he will give me a whooping. The Judge said oh he will spank you and my son said no he will beat my butt. The Judge was staring me down and ask my son if I put bruises on him. He said no he just make me behave so I don't end up in jail. The Judge then said oh and my son then popped off to the judge but Brenda does(his mother) end of custody case.

The common theme of the price-gouging businesses that exploit captive customers who have limited options is likely to be that they are owned by hedge funds who have to keep their investors happy with fat profits. Excessive profit-taking goes hand in hand with nationwide businesses who exploit strangers. Vulnerable strangers are their preferred market. They intentionally look for investment opportunities in which the customers are trapped with no other option. In short, virtual monopolies. Local businesses serve folks they know who are also likely to have other options at hand. Local businesses have incentive to be reasonable in setting their prices so as to not gouge their friends or drive their market away to be served by their local competitors. Hedge fund managers cater to their investors' greed and don't have friends. They calculate their profits based on "economies of scale" that function best on a nationwide basis. Our society has deteriorated into a collection of strangers who do not make decisions based on their kindness towards each other. In short, the Golden Rule does not apply. Exploitation violates the Golden Rule. So does greed.
