@jurjclooners8294 жыл бұрын
Because the chance of complications that can lead to the child dying or being disabled are much higher in a home birth than in a hospital birth.
@unbeknownstsoul92404 жыл бұрын
@@jurjclooners829 As long as you have a professional midwife and have made sure there are no complications in the womb beforehand(which everyone does when its available, duh), it's quite rare for deaths or mishaps to occur during homebirths. It must be shocking to realize that in countries where homebirths are more of the norm than hospital births, 3rd world countries even, that the majority of births still go smoothly. We free thinking mothers are growing in number and are tired of people who believe you MUST give birth in a hospital, where the nurses & doctors force drugs and c-sections on you when not necessary and believe you should have little say in your birth because "the doctor always knows best." Stop fear mongering. If home birth is SO dangerous, the world population wouldn't have made it to massive numbers it is at now.
@ahalpert4 жыл бұрын
@@unbeknownstsoul9240 There are pros and cons. For example, u prob have higher oxytocin in the comfort of ur home. Hospitals use a lot of pitocin, which is artificial oxytocin, and can elevate bp and result in more painful contractions. But after the water breaks the baby has a higher risk of getting an infection. If ur in a hospital they can actually put water back in the amniotic sac and it improves the fetal heart rate.
@rhelferstay4 жыл бұрын
@@unbeknownstsoul9240 Home births are the reason the human population is so large? Yeah and it's also the reason the majority of children died at a young age too. Funny how the human population was barely increasing until the last century, aka before hospitals were widespread. The population has grown almost exponentially since the 1950s and why is that you ask???? HOSPITALS AND MODERN MEDICINE! Why do you think parents use to have chickenpox parties? Because children are extremely resilient to viruses and bacteria, and it's much more dangerous to get it in your adult years. Why not expose your child to the possible bacteria and viruses in a hospital so your child has a stronger immune system?
@unbeknownstsoul92404 жыл бұрын
@@rhelferstay Dear lord, its 2020. Home births have evolved drastically. To act like a baby is just as likely to die in a home birth compared to a century ago is ludacris. Away with you sheeple. 🤚🏼🙄
