Thank you for this video, I really value your opinion. Its clear that you put a lot of thought into your reviews. I found the subject of changing the tips on the 7hz Zero especially interesting, I've only heard them with stock tips so far. The 7hz Zero has been my standard recommendation for friends that want new, affordable earphones and I guess it'll stay that for a while. If you ever listen to them I'd be curious about your thoughts on the TinHifi C2 and Truthear Hexa.

Your point behind the performance of Kato vs the Zero is probably valid. It could be due to the dynamic driver quality/capability and type of DD. loved the review !

I just ordered the hexa because personally my preferred tuning is the b2 but its too expensive for me and Im concerned about the size... I own the Kato and it is amazing but the 7hz zero is a surprise and is something else as well, my only nitpick about the zero is its too shallow for me so I sold it Kato and Hexa so far my go to 🥰

yeah b2 is good. kato and 7hz zero are my favorites right now. with elixir being up there. it has a nice quality to it

Hi, have you tried Moondrop Lan? What do you think, especially from the perspective of an Etyhead?

Hi 🤘🙂, you can add midbass and rafine uppermids/treble on the 7hz zero very easily (no eq is needed actually they dont handle eq very well), if anybody is interested let me know its Akros mod. Btw the stock cable and tips degrade the sound, 7hz zero can sound much better. Nowadays cheap iems can sound very good (heck the zero is 16bucks on discount, original price was bucks but now it is up to 25 bucks), but when track comes to busy passages you will know why they are cheap. Maybe on busy tracks u will ehar more of the difference between kato and 7hz

I'd love to measure one you've modded or see your mod... tips definitely can improve the sound. i use spinfit tips and the treble is inproved a bit ino.

@@dentReviews very easy. I discarded the stock paper/metal mesh filter and exchanged fith the olina nozzle filter (u can also use oxygen or tanya filter they are simillar). Then u can mod the vent. U can buy tuning filters from amazon and place them on the vent. They are in the range of y1 to y8. I recommend to start with the y3 or y4 the higher the number the more bass is added and upper freqs are rafined. I also use final etype tips for more body in the sound and yinhoo 16 core discounted to 15bucks now (originaly it is around 90bucks but it is around 16bucks for some time now 💁). Its a big difference sonically compare to any stock cable (except fiio and dunu). I use it as an upgrade also to my kilobuck stuff. Btw mod is reversible but u have to be carefull while puting out the original paper filter (3 layers foam, paper, metal mesh glued together).
