We challenged chefs of three different levels - an amateur, a home cook and a professional chef - to make their versions of waffles. And then we brought in a food scientist to review their work. Which waffles were the best?

I personally think it's interesting to hear their experience backgrounds when they say they've been at it for X amount of years. I found out that Simm Cass had baked all over the world cause of that. 😊

What I mean is that am amateur just refers to someone who isn’t paid to do what they’re doing, or don’t have a great amount of experience. As a Belgian, i can say level 3 was the real belgian "luikse wafel" the other ones were like every ordenairy pancake batter turn into waffles (wich we do too so ;) ) Edit: this kind of waffle we also call it a brussels waffle and second of all thank you for the likes!
