These looks oh so good! People can soften butter by putting it in a container and dicing it up. Softens a bunch within 10 mins. You could, instead of taking 10 minutes, use one of the silicone or plastic spatulas to fold the dices of butter and get it softened fast.

You can use beet juice instead of red food coloring. It's a darker red but natural coloring.

The only thing I would be concerned about is the flavor of the beet juice coming through. You probably don't need to use very much so it might work.

Like the Chocolate cake but not with cinnamon which I would omit. but looks good other wise.
