What is holding me back is. the belief that I am not smart enough to take care of my money issues
@jakepark12553 жыл бұрын
Money beliefs that have been holding me back: "Money is scarce." "That's expensive." When I spend money, I will start to look at it as a transaction of value. I am giving money in order to receive something that I value. I will remind myself every day that I am valuable and abundant. I attract money into my life because I add an abundance of value to the world and the people around me! Thank you for sharing this knowledge and encouragement!

"No one will value you more, than you value yourself." Powerful quote. Great information Marie and Kate. Thanks.
@nanu19808 жыл бұрын
It is a powerful quote, however, it is not correct. Fortunately, there are people who see value in others and their contributions. And there CAN be people who value someone more than they value themselves. And I'm sure if you think about it, you've heard or whitnessed those stories, too. Yes, there might not be man of them. And most of the time its our close friends and relatives. But even "out in the world" there can be strangers, who value what you have to offer. It's just that you shouldn't rely on these few people to show up. But in my opinion, it's not good to cement the believe that those people can't or won't exist at all. When you meet one of these, be open and grateful.

The bad money belief is this: If you are a good person, money will just come to you and you don't actually have to be responsible about it or pursue it in any way. The change I could make: Stop believing that because it's obviously not true because there are so many good, beautiful, wonderful people who don't have money.

I always have this fear deep inside of me when it comes to looking at my bank account or looking at the amount of debt I owe due to school. When I look at my bank account I right away compare it to the amount of debt I owe crumbling inside I start to think 'I will never get through this debt' or 'I need more money to even make a dent in my debt and still be happy doing things I love to do in life'. This video has changed the way I think and I have made my first financial budget planning out how I can control my debt and still be who I am and do what I love!!! This discussion definitely pierced through some stone-wall ideals I've somehow carried with me without awareness. The disguised for me was that those I'v deemed as financial stable had someone to help them along the way! My resolve to the matter is, I desire a better story then suffering without a cause. We all go through challenges BECAUSE we are advancing to a better version of ourselves. You BOTH have been enlightening the process. Thanks

I just went through my debts and totalled them up, also my monthly expenses. One of my negative feelings about having money is my dad was stressed and sick all the time because of his business, and ended up retiring early. I love the idea of writing down 3 things I value in myself and I can't remember the other part.

Just saying out loud that I'm not a lucky person seems to be a terrible thing that stands in my way. I feel this is part of the "Not being enough" concept that I do know plagues me. So there it is I AM A LUCKY PERSON, because I am enough, I am smart enough, I am strong enough,I am committed enough, and I really deserve good things... AND I DO make my own LUCK!!

Thank you. Profoundly grateful for this episode. One money belief holding me back is my past. I am from a small town of poverty, welfare, and breeding like wild fire. Although I haven't lived there for almost 18 years and have found my purpose I am still holding myself back from earning income. Logically I know that I am not my past, I have cut chords in meditations, yet still when it comes to connecting to receiving money I my throat chakra swells and feel like I'm swallowing a rock. You are giving me tools to begin healing a painful money past and began living in the value of my potential and values. Just by watching you two do it!

I think this is my absolute fave MarieTV video! I'm pretty sure what's holding me back from fulfilling my best potential is the fact that I'm afraid of not having money and thinking I'm not good with money at the same time. The money belief I had that was holding me back, was to think that working in something other than my passion was a detriment to my freedom. And then I realised that only working in my passion didn’t give me any freedom, because I had no money to enjoy my life and being free... For many of us, make money from our talents take many years, and now I’m finally manifesting that abundance, but also I had to get a normal job a few days a week. I feel happy to receive money from multiple areas!! I had to change the perception freedom/work to be able to start receiving money and abundance to my life... It was such an amazing shift!!

Amazing, I grew up a coptic orthodox christian and they keep on saying "the love of money is the root of all evil" now I understand it doesn't literally mean that way, and that it means loving money for selfish unhealthy reasons is the root of all evil. As for money and spirituality was still kind of a limiting belief to me because again I grew up in an environment that denies anything materialistic and life joys and in the same time says it's okay to go after getting better financially and it caused me confusion to be honest, but as Kate said I'm going to start seeing money as a way of adding value now. Thanks Marie and Kate :)

yeah, those are the thoughts to let go of...let just pass through your mind and then counter with the complete opposite thoughts until the opposite thoughts are the ones that pop up more in your mind. If you worry about those things and think those thoughts, you can only continually attract the same things you think. Hope in the past 10 mos. you've found a way to think different and attract differently. If not, employ the method above immediately and change your life. Lack is a lie. the energy of life is abundance until we are born into a life where people have poverty mentality and/or we have a poverty mentality. We can have an abundant mentality and find that things flow into our life that have less to do with money and more to do with 'having everything we need and want in abundance'.

And the most ironic part of this is that I have held jobs where my sales record is the highest in the company! But my upbringing and going back to my family business and falling back into our old family roles and dynamics has been killing my self-esteem. I am taking action now from Marie's videos to own my self-worth, to believe that I can make good money and eventually have wealth, and to say bye bye to my family business and be bold enough to pursue my own business.

Great video! There's this thing people can do to help get rid of their CCs faster: Debt Snowball. You start with the smallest balance card first, add a set amount of extra you're paying on it every month. When it's paid off, move that amount of payment over to the next credit card. The amount of money you're paying on each goes up exponentially as the smaller one is paid off.

I love these women. Not only they talk about money, they akso talk about virtues. They are classy, polite, relaxed. I like that. What is inside manifests outside. That is the fruit of right spirit. Money without love, humility, forgiveness, peace, generosity, kindness, respect etc...cannot bring happiness.

I love the comment about exchanging value for value. One of the beliefs I want to shake is you can have money and be spiritual. But this really puts that in perspective and makes me want to challenge my beliefs. So, thank you! :)

Great episode. I think my greatest limiting money belief is that I have to do things I don't like doing (usually boring things) in order to make money.

Such an IMPORTANT topic - especially for women! Thank you for talking about this! So many people think that by the time they are in their 40's they'll be at a certain 'level' and they often aren't. Let's start with small steps!
