4 month Barndominium Build update - E59 S3

Day 105 of my four month Barndominium Build. Things are going well but time is running out. I still need to get the Barndominium painted, countertops installed, cabinets finished, as well as tile the showers. Still lots of work to do before I can start trimming it out.

I disagree. They could do a bit better on shower design and install. I know they have a budget already established for the subs and materials, but come on with those showers. The tub surround looks like a 90’s shower and the master walk in looks alright.

@@joseoviedo1644 My tub looks like the 1970's. I was born in the 1950's. I have taken baths and showers in tubs from the 1920's. I got just as clean in the old ones. Vaughn

David Messer Tub surround. Not the tub itself! Tub looks fine, but the tile installed around the tub (tub surround) looks very antiquated for it being new construction.

You got me wanting one so bad for my son, with wide hallways and me and Dad can say take yourself into the kitchen to get a snack, you know where the bathroom is ( of course it would have to be set up for a wheelchair and we would have to teach him first safely how to get on and off by himself). But goodness open house like this would be great. I think I enjoy my swimming pool though and we are looking now to try and find a lift for it. He is 16 years old now and getting a 16 year old in and out of a pool gets a little rough 😅

Nice build as always!!! You’ll beat the deadline! Is the “fellow KZbinr” Matt with off the ranch? His abandon mansion project is waiting on a garage, and he’s been keeping us in the dark. Well, Erik, I can smell the steak dinner cooking! A few thoughts; Leroy is not just any employee- I suspect he has also been a friend for a long time- My read on you is that this is as much an Erik's teaching moment as anything else- last, I think even if you win (no doubts) you will likely either pay the table of leave a huge tip. All my read through the tiny little pixels of my computer screen! Oh, and "Where's Manny?"I know he is gone, but I think most of us would like to know he is doing well; come talk to us Manny- we might even be willing to add another sub for your new channel!
