Following up, I purchased two books from the Algonguin Table mysteries and read the first of the series. I found it cleverly written and entertaining, but the witty repartee was a bit tiresome for me, even though I am sure it was related to the Algonguin players. So, put the other book on the back burner. Now ... I absolutely loved the Louisa Alcott mysteries and was sad to discover there were no more of this series. However, the author wries other books under her real name and I intend to check them out. I shall continue on with your suggested reading list!
