@OptiMate I have question about OptiMate 4 Dual Program or any other of your product. In my garage I have limit to plug devices with no more than 2A, 440W. Will your charger work without burning electrical cables in our garages during winter time (talking about motorcycle)? Thank you

Thank you for your question! The OptiMate 4 Dual Program is ideal for charging AGM, GEL, and standard 12V batteries from 3-50Ah, and it operates with a charging current of 1A. Its maximum power draw is well within your garage’s limit, using only about 0.25A from the AC supply, which is far below the 2A, 440W limit you mentioned. The charger is fully automatic and works in a 9-step process to safely charge and maintain your battery without risk of overloading electrical cables. You can confidently use the OptiMate 4 Dual Program in your garage, even during winter, without concern. In general, all our motorcycle chargers from our current range remain well below the 2A limit you mentioned. Whether it is the OptiMate 1 DUO, the OptiMate 3 or our new OptiMate 4 Quad Program (replaces the OptiMate 4 Dual Program). Yes, exactly. An OptiMate charger can remain connected 24/7 without the risk of overcharging. We even recommend leaving the charger connected to the battery all winter as this extends battery life.
