The Baobabs and Shoellies look fantastic and I love the idea of the leather lasting board in the Baobabs! I also like the look of the African buffalo leather as well as the conservation aspect of not letting the leather go to waste. The leather on the Razorback Afriques is a little loud for my tastes, but I really like the tyre soles. All in all it looks like you've got some great products coming for 2023!

Love me some Jim Green boots. I have a pair of Razorbacks and my custom orthotics fit in them perfectly. I use them for gardening and working around my hobby farm/orchard. used to have a cheap pair of timberland's and I rolled my ankle twice! The Shoellies look like they would be great to wear to work. Big suggestion here. WHITE WEDGE. White Wedge would go perfectly with the shoellies in a tan upper. Brown, Khaki suede, or fudge could also work with white wedge. white wedge are all the rage in the U.S. right now for lower and middle management casual attire with dark jeans. Tan Shoellies with a white wedge sole, dark thread stiching in the upper and white stitched down construction would sell like hotcakes.

Got the Buffalo Rangers for working at a carpentry shop in NYC. I'm light on my feet and stay comfortable and protected all day long on cement floors. I love the functional toe caps. Thanks Jim Green!

I would love to see the Outback as well as the Stockman in a true black configuration. It would be a real threat for all the Dr Martens and Blundstones out there. I believe you are doing an fantastic job. In terms of quality, fit, finish and price you really are on top of the competition.

i think the baobab boot is backwards to what i'd want personally. the slimmer last is supposed to be more stylish but it comes off as a generic work boot. the cap toe with the more durable/mini lug sole seems like it'd look great + be more bomb proof.

I was on the first African Ranger pre-order the end of last year. Back then I was excited for Jim Green's evolution and footprint (yes, pun intended) in the US market. Now with these new models still keeping true to JG style and robustness, I'm so much more thrilled for the brand and proud to be a part of the family. I'll be putting in an order for the Bao boots for sure. Might even opt for the shoellie as well. Really excited about the use of EVA to bring more street wear comfort to your footwear. If I were to complain about anything about my African Rangers, it'd be the hard underfoot feeling. They're still great stompers that'll last many years. Keep up the good work Jim Green. PS, really enjoying this channel as well.

I got my delivery of African Ranger in buffalo skin yesterday although it was slated to arrive in May. I loved the shoes. Not only because of the unique fact that it is made from the skin of one of ‘the big fives’ but also because it is very well made. Jim green represents the character of South Africa so comprehensively but with this production in buffalo skin, this statement now stands fully qualified. The rugged and tough look is pronounced with the same comfort of the Ranger. I am loving the shoe already although it is not yet broke in. I can only say that the best has got even better. So well done yet again Jim Green!

I love the new additions!! What I would love to see is an African Ranger exactly as it is now but with a lug sole. That would take it from a boot I can wear for 3 seasons in the Northeast United States to a 4 season boot that would be great on ice and snow too. I'm loving my African Ranger the way it is though too.

I'm using mine in snow and ice and they work shockingly well, the rubber is way softer than a typical lug sole so it just kinda sticks to anything.

I haven't had mine for winter yet, but I've had a similar (but not exact) sole on another pair of boots and I slipped and fell more times that once in them so I assumed these wouldn't be good in the snow either. But I'll definitely give these a try. I'm hoping that based on what you're saying that I'll be pleasantly surprised. I'm loving these boots so far in all other situations though.

Agreed. Some type of mini lug sole to keep the profile low would be an excellent option. The current sole is ok in snow, abysmal on ice. Great shoe boots- loving them-but not for northeast US winters. Clearly not the intended market.

@@abrosh5434 tbf I would never use them for proper ice and snow anyway as they're not lined. I'd use Razorbacks or AR8, Baobab; something with more warmth and cold/wet resistance, that automatically comes with a grippy-er sole.

I would love to see a version of the baobab & the dress shoe that wasn’t on the skinny last. As a wide foot guy I’ve always liked not only the feel but the look of wide boots.

I too think the Baobab boot is going to be a big hit. Especially since it has the leather lasting board. I also really like that Buffalo African Ranger. It seems like you can get a really unique look with every pair. To bad you guys had to actually go out in the bush to get a hold of the skins before the spoil.

Please retain the wide toe box of the razorback, it's fantastic for allowing foot spread when hiking, not enough boots allow for this.

I'm extremely curious about the soles on those razorbacks and baos and whether they'll be available on other boots in the future. I would pay a bit extra for a fully customizable boot with a choice of soles, leathers, and possibly even lasts, as the new baos are unfortunately out of the question for me, I need the wide toe box. A steel toe razorback in black crazy horse leather with a tire tread sole would be a must buy for me.

I'm sure they'll opt for custom orders once they expand their range once they catch up to demand. I'm sure they're expanding at a good rate as is, and I'm def getting a couple pairs soon.

Lots of good new styles, I think I like the Baobab the most but I do favor the wider toe box of other styles. Right now I'm really loving the AR8's and in the future I'd be very interested in a true double leather toe cap version (Red Wing Iron Ranger style for example) of the AR8 if you think that would be a good seller. Also leather mid soles are always favored.

Those razorbacks will look killer with a pair of dark wash jeans. Liking the tire tread sole and hope that will be added to the rest of the line. As an idea you might want to carry replacement soles on the USA site so we can keep using OM parts.

I just got my crazy horse African Rangers and they have been outstanding, since breaking in (about 5 wears for me). I treated mine with Renapur (probably similar to Jim Green’s house shoe balm), and they turned an awesome medium brown chestnut color; they are wearing great, the leather feels high-quality and thick, and the sole is FAR grippier than I expected. I see the same tread pattern on the Shoellie… and with that narrower, more office-friendly last, I pre-ordered just now. If they are as well-made as the African Ranger, I know my money is well-spent. Awesome boots! If you could make the shoellie and the BOABOOT with a storm welt I would buy two pairs! Love the idea of the leather midsole. I’m a fan of a cork midsole, so it can mold to your foot, I think a little better. I love the idea of bison leather and giving back. Great work!
