She's got a great range . From low soft and soothing to Heavy metal screaming. Love her!

She has been one of my vocal mentors from the very first time I heard What's Up❣️😁 I guess modeling her vocals helped me out, however, I caught my favorite karaoke place a noise ordinance charge once upon a time😁🤣🤷♀️ Thankfully dismissed cause it was like 5 pm, on Galvestons' Historic Strand LOL

Message is just as strong today as it was back then in the 90's. Wish music took a trend back to the 90's when music a bit more substance. Always thought music like this borrowed the soul of the music in the 60's.

@tambob828 жыл бұрын
She did. They were quite close back in the early 00s. But then they had a falling out. Linda thought P!nk was just phoning it in instead of going deep, and when Linda produced for Aguilera, P!nk was like "Fuck you, I'm out". They are cool again now, but not like they used to be.

I was a teenager in the 60', you won't imagine what all went on that moved universes. Once in a long while there came hope , and Linda was one at the top. She dresses and played as I have , only I was not at the right place at the right time. Linda came through the cracks in the woodwork and survived. She was late in her times. She belongs in the 60' as Slash and his presence amoung others. Back in my days we had lots of phonys ,but only those whom hung on to the truth remained. I , for one, is still dressed and looked as I did. I didn't"t "grow - up ,I grew strong and continued with what l believed. We need a following of youths with the same feelings and empowered individuals to step up and push forward with more true freedom of expression ,then and only then will people like Linda would resurfice and produce such powerful music ! Too many now have themselves wrapped around phony producers whom want to rob our youths of their talents and transform them into America Has No Talent. Because most don't even know how to read music, much less okay it That form has been prevailing. Good luck to all and all a good night.

This is such an intense song. Always loved 4 Non Blondes. Linda Perry was way ahead of her time. I wish they did more but I appreciate what they released. I feel sorry for young women nowadays - they do not have strong female role models creating music.

I've been watchin both for the past week or so! Lol!! I love johnette's voice! I believe Linda has more range in her vocals and really belts it out from her diaphragm! They each have their own signatures in their tones and songwriting talents. Up until May, I had been wearing out the cranberries and delores oreardon's songs and videos. Still reeling from that tragic loss!!! 😢

Linda is very talented and also her solo material is good. Still, if she sticked with the band she would progress more, strange she is somehow in background and known this days more as songwriter for successful acts like Aquilera, Kate Perry,Pink, Gwen Stefani, Courtney LOve etc... I still consider Whats up and Spaceman her far best songs and 4non blondes as band had that special chemistry and magnetism it was felt, so strange she didnt like that band...

The '90s had some of the greatest music ever, before autotune and EDM created trash ...4NB epitomises great lyrics and great arrangements. I'll always fondly remember those good times ...
@ausablecane7 ай бұрын
Know this is an old comment, but there was lots of trash before autotune- it just didn't make it big. Every generation has legends and shitty stuff and that's not just in music. The bad stuff gets forgotten and that's why we remember older generations more fondly and denigrate the younger generations. This also tends to make older generations less progressive as they blame the bad of the new generation on the younger generation and progress in general, scapegoating them (and reinforcing whatever the status quo is in the political sense). It's a vicious mental cycle we've fallen into.

@@stevejames9510 Their leaders call themselves in an interview in 2015 “trained Marxists” Antifa loves communist symbol both antifa and blm like the symbology of the upraised fist and to have you kneel. Their ideological foundation should be crystal clear of both the BLM (Burn Loot Murder/ pAntifa) movement’s. They are deep in the propaganda (media/school/peer group) and possibly not smart enough to figure it out. We all know they are not encouraged to think for themselves and think beyond the narrative. And "@Sagataurus life" these lyrics have not been relevant since 2016 soon you will understand that you have been under the spell of propaganda and fake news for almost your entire life. Once you take that step there are plenty of people to help you figure out reality instead of the "media's" message of division (divide and conquer) @james who was president in 2011 (many warned you against him, media seemed to think he was the second coming {red flag}) she was not the only one praying for a revolution ... but most of you did not know whom was the enemy yet a few off us saw thru the veneer of charisma, lies, and neuro lingistic programing . (hint: whomever the mainstream news praises hate and look deeper into the ones they slander and tell falsehoods about {e.g CNN's lies vs Trumps misquotes made to make "fact-checkers" seem petty e.g OMG Trump got the numbers wrong by a few hundred how dare a president round up or down !} )
