This was in 1977, we're in 2023 now and yet it's so hard to find artists who can sing live that well! I'm a guy who is into almost all genres of music. There is a reason anytime a poll is taken of the greatest rock songs of all time, this masterpiece composition is at least in the top 3 if not #1 itself. Like a fine wine, it only gets better with age. And in my humble opinion, this version, when the Eagles were at their pinnacle, is the best version ever recorded.

We are going to see the Eagles on tomorrow evening, Feb 17, 2024, here in New Orleans at the Smoothie Center. Most sadly, this will most probably be the last time that we will see them in New Orleans, or at anywhere else near NO. It's been a magnificent 52-year run since 1972 in New Orleans (the Warehouse) & in other Louisiana venues. However, all things must end. We will enjoy the Eagles on tomorrow evening, & we shall cherish the memories of them & of our friends, family, & loved ones. "Life's Been Good" to me, family, & friends so far. We have been so, so fortunate. God has blessed us all. 🙏 👍 😊 Richard
