I particularly enjoyed this one Jon. For me I really liked using the notes below the root note to create the broken chord. Thanks Jon!

Hi Jon, I loved this video. It kind of verified, to me, I did a pretty good job of teaching myself how to play. I use this idea all the time. Depending on the song I often play "the four notes" in different sequences/order. I love shifting on the bass, probably due to playing lots of 2 string bass. When playing 3 or 4 string bass I use the shapes you talked about while sometimes working 2 string variations into the mix on the 3 & 4 string bass guitars. I luckily figured this out by ear. Thanks again Jon.

Hey, Jon' it's Ev's again. I'd like to take on some of ur online courses so badly. For one thing just to say, "I had a lesson with the famous Jon Liebman". 😁 Because we've all gone through your blues book. I turned on a bass player buddy of mine to it, he really got on well with it. And he has some students he's helping them to understand blues bass with your book. That's a true story too. There are so many young people out out who are influenced, and love to listen and play the blues. So, that being said, I've taken it upon myself to focus on the fifth fret and below A,D,G,C open strings. Starting tonight at midnight when the clock strikes 12 I'm only going to approach every idea, thought or piece of music I have to learn in that fashion for the next 3 weeks to see if my experimental theory of study is correct. The answer I'm looking for is excelled progress in a short amount of time. Wish me luck!
