OMG! Kulabra design is AMAZING!!! I've just lost over an hour down that rabbit hole. Her cat designs are lovely, the owl mittens to die for and her popping dot socks have got me so excited. Guess I've got a new designer to follow. Thanks for the video Taylor, I love all your videos but I really love Ravelry Roulette. Always something unexpected. ❤️

This is my favourite ravelry roulette episode. The bonus rule breaking round and how it descends into chaos when you find the winter fox mittens was hilarious! But you really did hit the jackpot when you found that website. I could’ve watched you scroll through those patterns and react to them all day! Hope the heatwave cools down soon!

Hi Tayler! Love these roulettes! One suggestion (and excuse me if someone else already has said this): when you run your randomizer, if you choose between 0 and the number AFTER the highest number, number 1 and the largest number will have a fighting chance to be included in the results! annds on Ravelry.

@fabigrossi29766 ай бұрын
Same in Germany, we've had 12 months of ongoing rain more or less. The only way to tell summer season is that the rain has become warmer and thunderstorms happen more often. For a summer it's still too cold mostly. I'm so tired and fed up of all this water. Unfortunately it seems we have to get used to this as our new normal. 😔

Hi Taylor. This was a fun one! Stranded colorwork is my fav. Earlier this year, I made some cat face mitts from Kulabra Designs. The pattern had me use duplicate stitch to fill in the colors on the eyes and nose. I loved how it came out. (PS - the main pattern page on Ravelry has a place where it says what language the pattern is in. Norwegian for example. 😉)

I really love this series because we get a bunch of random patterns to see. I've casted on my first pair of striped socks which is somewhat new but the color changes aren't since I often use a contrasting color for the heel/toe, although very hesitant to try colorwork since I've never done so before for any project. I'm working on only my 2nd pair of socks worked with heavier dk & worsted weight yarn. It's amazing how quickly these socks are working up as I just finished the heel & 1/3 of the foot for sock 2 (catching up to how far I've gotten with sock 1). I've learned that I knit socks way better when knitting socks TAAT. Spending the most of what I have to knit while I can before starting my new job.

Happy belated birthday to your husband! It depends if there is charth, then you don't actually need written pattern and it's not problem that first socks was in Norwegian, they are so pretty! I love colour work and especially doodles. Once I've made wall hanger with one of my favourite bands, and now I regert that didn't choose a socks for that, it would be way more cooler when both singer 'dancing' around. Also the Knitty Natty's yarn cozies makes the maintaining of the yarn easy peasy.

Colorwork is my favorite EVER. That being said, I knitted a Latvian mitten once and ran screaming from the room. That wound still smarts. Someday, I’ll pick it back up, undo and correct it. But not today. Could the cat socks have duplicate stitching on them? Fun video.
@Katepwe6 ай бұрын
I don’t think so. English isn’t her first language so I think the description on the pattern page isn’t translated quite right. It sounds like it’s toe up and you knit the cat face first from a chart, then you can knit the leg following the chart for that or, if you want, you could knit it plain, striped or use a self striping yarn.

Natalia was pushed off Ravelry by Ravelry because she is Russian. This happened when Putin invaded Ukraine and Ravelry shut designer accounts for those who lived in Russia in a protest. Pretty sure she was a full time designer so she had to move to a website in order to continue her business. I have knit her Grumpy Cat mittens and they are a favourite with my son. She is in the process of getting some of her patterns listed back on Ravelry, but I'm not sure whether or not she's able/planning to return to selling via that platform. She has a great newsletter that comes out occasionally, often with a discount for new patterns and sometimes sells her samples as well. It's well worth signing up for if you are a fan of colourwork. I don't know her personally, but have been following her work for a long time.
