I adopted my staffie when she was already 6 years old (in human years). She was the most loving, loyal, friendly, easy to train, best friend that I miss everyday. (Cancer)

Awww I’m sorry to hear that. We know a lot about cancer in this house too. At least you got to spend some great times with her 🙂

I may be a little bit biased, but... I grew up with working farm dogs (Kelpies) and house dogs (a Pekingese and a Corgi mix). First dog of my own as an adult was a Kelpie-Heeler mix, then a German Shepherd mix. I'm now with my third Stafford (current one is a rescue) and will never get another breed. A jester, a cuddler, a protector and an all around perfect family dog.

Wow that’s a storied and impressive history! I certainly can’t see myself ever not having a staffy from now on.

I have always had staffies thay are a great breed but I have had problems with there back legs with arthritis at a young age my other staffie was only 8 years old when I lost her and this one I have now is the same age with the same problem but I do agree with everything you said about the breed

I’m really sorry to hear that. Bully breeds do tend to suffer with things like arthritis more and it’s a real shame. Sorry you’ve had to go through it twice.
