99% of non-compete agreements are rarely enforceable. Basically, it is only under specific circumstance they they're upheld.

Agree in general, but good luck getting a higher level position with no arbitration and non-compete.

I can understand if a very advantageous training that gives the employee advantageous in multiple jobs (eg welder to underwater welder), that they'd be expected to be paid out by bringing a certain amount of profit back. However is basic training legal to be included in such contract?

Except now all employers will have you sign the arbitration clause. You will get an official offer letter and accept it then they will hit you with the arbitration clause.

They are the worst. I know it’s easier said than done, but just don’t sign it! Not all employers

Then hit back with a 20-30% pay raise before you sign arbitration for future unpaid OT.

@@BASESKIZLLOL .I had that recently. I just went silent 🔕. It was for a staffing agency janitorial job at University of Washington for three months. This was a month ago for areotek. From today 6/20/2024.
