Hello. I'm in CT & I was just terminated from my employer after 14 YRS in this current position yesterday morning with this current manager. I was on a written, after a verbal, which were presented a week apart. It was so bogus, however, I maintained composure (emotional intelligence) IT ALL HAPPENED EXACTLY AS YOU OUTLINED IN YOUR VIDEO IN THAT EXACT ORDER. I HAD A 1:1 SCHEDULED AT 10AM YESTERDAY, BUT HR LOGGED IN ON CALL 1ST THEN MY SENIOR DIRECTOR. I HAVE NEVER, EVER BEEN FIRED. MY HUSBAND WAS AWESOME HELPING ME THROUGH MY RANGE OF EMOTIONS!! I HAVE A BS IN HUMAN SERVICES & PLAN TO LET THAT WORK IN MY FAVOR. I HAVEN'T DONE A RESUME IN FOREVER. Thank you for your video. Makes me feel better! I was a good thing bc I wasn't being utilized correctly, no promotions or advancement. However the benefits were absolutely amazing.

Thank you for sharing. I had a civil rights issue against my former employer and both attorneys I spoke with told me that bringing a case would ruin my future career prospects. I live in Tennessee which is a Right to Work state and I found that situation impossible to navigate and entirely cost prohibitive, so I just had to move on.

That's total bs. Suing over an emploment rights violation is just protecting yourself, and if the previous company informs your new company, that is slander and could ALSO end in suit.

@@BeardMan01 It wasn’t so much them informing my new employer. The problem is that court documents are public. They show up on background checks. If employers see that a candidate is apt to sue, it can be a red flag that the candidate is a potential liability. Slander is saying something about someone else that’s untrue. If a former employer tells a prospective employer they were sued, it’s not slander

Easy answer like last few videos. Build up your skills. Become a Contractor/Per Diem/Own Business. You don’t have to give a single shit about any of this. Make whatever necessary monetary compensation. I feel like surfing on Friday per se. Said company calls me up and says we HAVE to have you on Friday. No problem my rate is triple today.
