Hello Lisa, Thank you so much for helping non-native speakers like me increase their fluency in American Spoken English. Well, apparently there is nothing unique about your channel because there are hundreds others like yours on KZbin. But as a advanced leaner of English who also helps others to develop their fluency in English, I can guarantee with 100% certainty that your channel is the best one among them. Your lessons are easy to follow even for newbies and you make the whole thing look so doable that anyone watching you feels emboldened enough to emulate you and learn quickly. Keep up the good work and may your followers increase.

Thank you. That's very nice of you. : ) Your English is very good and clearly advanced.

I totally agree. I have been watching your channel for long, and it works out perfectly when I apply what I have learned in your videos into my English teaching. Thank you.
@lucianocorleone17115 жыл бұрын
@Hugh Jaanus Thank you for you idea. Well, you might be right, but in American English, when you have a word that has a T and an N, with a vowel between, and the syllable is unstressed, the T and the N can be connected together. To do so, an interrupted T should be created. That's why Lisa says "sen'ence", or cott'n, curt'n, things like that. And it doesn NOT mean she CAN'T say SENTENCE with clear two syllable.
@lucianocorleone17115 жыл бұрын
@Hugh Jaanus If you're interested in teaching, please make videos or something. Non-native speakers like us really appreciate it. I've met a lot of British people saying American English is lazy, or crap, or whatever. But I think, although they seem to be lazy in their speech, they have struggled a lot in work. They do not criticize or point and laugh at people's mistakes (spelling mistakes when typing fast). And their struggle is somehow much more than "somebody's struggle to decide whether to get out or stay in an organization.
@lucianocorleone17115 жыл бұрын
@Hugh Jaanus Oh, I didn't know you're Irish, Mr.Four-leaf Clover (or Shamrock if you prefer). Well, I am waiting to see your videos and how you help people speak English.
