Most people try to accumulate wealth but dont have a figure where they can stop living frugally and start spending a bit more .

I totally rate the OPES team- we have used them a few times now and are in a significantly better financial position as a result. The commentary and advice in their channels is the best most accessible out there. If you're sitting on the fence and a bit afraid to take the next step then avail yourself of the huge amount of info they have accumulated which is free. In other countries people pay big money for the advice these guys are dishing out gratis. If there wasn't a bit of risk in investing, everyone would be doing it. Most of them are being terrorised by the general media. If you are suffering from paralysis-by-analysis, just make a start- it will happen for you a lot faster than you think.

Average rent in nz is over 1000% higher than Bangladesh . Cost of living needs to be factored in. Who cares if you are more wealthy than others if you have to pay a lot more to live

You say comparing what you earn to Jeff Bezos is a ridiculous thing to do....yet at the start of the video you tell people to compare what they earn to the global average salary, which is equally as ridiculous.

Tbh, everyone needs to just knuckle down. Cut out all your shit that you do not need, save money, every penny. Less you own the happier you'll be. Easier to save, less spending. My partner and I have saved over 120K in less then 3 years with average jobs. Bought our house and now we are doing it all again in another country. simplify your life.

The rest of the world doesn’t matter. It’s what you earn minus what it costs you to live. I’m not talking about luxuries and frivolous spending.

The reason why wage earners feel shite despite higher incomes, is because wages do not keep up with inflation of food, services, shelter, health or education. Only asset holders can escape poverty inflation and profit from it. Unfortunately this results in increased inequality and hopelessness. If you are taking 3 steps forward and 4 steps back, your or running on a treadmill backwards I.e not beating inflation. You are miserable. That’s normal. The monetary system is bleeding everyone dry. Yes, property helps protect your wealth but monetising houses has deleterious effects on society. It’s shelter, not money!! Wake up

I'd say this is quite insightful. Judging from what you've said u probably didn't take away his main message.

@@Tony-qw1df Sure, we all have our own opinions. I think I did take on his main message but situation is most complex. A house in AKL has different price to an average house in Rotorua and opportunities to our children. The wealth distribution is huge in NZ and average income/net worth is not an useful indicator. But I will stop as I think I can write on and on. Anyway to each his own.
