I get mixed signals. I am the one that started the No Contact because my Ex would never spend time with me on his off days after I told him that's what I need. He said he would but never did. Before you guys said the no-contact rule was a good thing? Now you're saying no communication is a bad thing? My ex and I broke up two weeks ago. It ended in a disaster after three good years, at first there seemed like a chance of getting back together quickly but I was unable to articulate that. Two days after the fight she blocked me and called the police. I went to jail, but no charges were filed against me. She said I hurt her physically but I only wanted to stop her from attacking me so I grabbed onto her. We never had a physical altercation before this. I would never want to hurt her. In my case, it seemed like no contact might be helpful but it really hurts and I wish it didn't go down like this. Maybe I am crazy but I still love her and I always will. We were best friends and planned to get married plus I was her first. Towards the end of the relationship, I was complacent and not working or earning much money. She grew tired of this and probably lost respect for me. I wish I made the changes sooner but this was a wake-up call and I am working again and focusing on self-improvement. Honestly, do you think there is any chance for us to start fresh?

Hello alex. My ex gf broke up with me after a 5 year relationship, on October 12th. I begged and pleaded for the next 3 weeks and on Nov 6th I started No Contact, and I was the one that actually broke NC on Dec 16th, because on the next day it has been a year that I finished Special Forces Course and she was at the cerimony. I have a photo where is my mother, me and her, so I broke NC to ask my ex if I could share the photo. At first, she said "no, especially with the sentence attached to the photo" to which I respond: "well, it's the only photo I got" She got a bit more receptive and agreed that I could share the photo of the cerimony. Then I just said thank you, take care and took off. Did I do the right thing? Should've I just cut her from the picture and avoided breaking NC? Xmas is coming, and I'm not thinking of saying "merry christmas" to her, the same way I'll miss her on a special day, she will miss me too as well.

My situation: I’m 23 and my ex bf 21 we were in the relationship (long distance) for 9 months. He broke up with me about 5 days ago I know that he feels like he doesn’t deserve love and doesn’t trust that I love him and thinks I’m there to use him and after last argument he expressed his feelings A LOT! I was aggressive and forcing and etc in the relationship. p.s.. There was no betrayal or cheating but I had high ego but when I was too aggressive to the point he doesn’t want to deal with me anymore and after telling me it can’t be fixed he told me to love and focus on myself. After reconciling him for straight 4 days I stopped and he reached out and asked if he was ever a good boyfriend. I said yes but then we had a small argument but it’s from his own emotions. Then he asked me “if it takes long time but you think there’s still a chance we can get back together, will you wait?” I said it depends on time and then he said he needs more time. Then he texted me 2 days ago and asked “are you up” and I replied 3 hrs later but he ignored my messages since yesterday. I know he saw it but choose to not open the message.
