Thanks for a great video. Used part1 and 2 during my last round...Club head toe infront of heal because I have natural strong grip and moved the hips closed which gave me a club head path in to out and it worked a treat. Now back to my natural draw. Thanks for explaining the golf swing so well.

Great video as always Eric. I'm a big fan from across the pond! I've got rid of the slice and experience push shots with my driver and I think my grip isn't strong enough, so things to work on. Thanks once again for all your help.
@CogornoGolf3 жыл бұрын
You got it David! Appreciate the support Yeah for push I would check face and path first. Make face more closed to the path if the ball is curving right at all If its a straight push to the right you could close face more to get it to curve back OR make path less right Of course it could be something simple in the setup as well

I tried all 4 steps when I was working on my slice, still slicing it 2 fairways over. Worked on the OTT swing path. Used your videos about feeling the club head drop and scrape down the wall when you transition (if your back was against the wall) - that fixed it. Now I snap hook 2 fairways over to the left! But that's OK. I could use this video to work backwards to straighten back out. Haha. Thanks!

Great lesson Eric. Do you have anymore in person seminars in Bethlehem, PA for the remainder of 2021?

Thanks, Robert! Nope---we are doing 100% of our coaching online at www.cogornogolf.com as of now!

I’ve tried and do all three but still at times hit a ten yard fade. I find out that if I don’t take the club back to high, around the shoulder, and shallow the club I hit the ball long and straight. Truly it’s about grey matter😂. Thanks for being there for us Eric .

I normally have a outside, take away and reroute it inside.for me it’s a nice straight shot but lately I’ve been trying to keep my hands closer to my body at the take away and it’s been causing me to have a slice now

Eric, love your videos but I have a question for you. Turned 61 this year and started playing golf again after a 8 year lay off. My distances on my irons have remained the same yet my driver has lost 50 yards! How is that possible?

Working on losing the slice and getting my draw back, thanks for the building blocks
@CogornoGolf3 жыл бұрын
Hey Rick! Glad you are back! I do not know. I would need to see your swing on video to see what's going on. Could be mis hits, could be a club fitting issue, could be swing mechanics, etc. Consider joining www.cogornogolf.com you can send in your swings there and we can help!
@simmo50713 жыл бұрын
I have the same issue. Irons require hitting down on the ball which is detrimental to the driver... So says an instructor who watched my swing! Good luck in fixing it. I went back in time to the small headed driver with a stiff shaft I regained 30% more distance just switching back. My new driver has a senior flex shaft which I hit very high.

can you still hit a slice with a out to in path and a closed face???
@CogornoGolf3 жыл бұрын
To hit a slice your CLUB FACE must be OPEN to your club path.....NO MATTER where that club path is Unless you are hitting off center of club face (gear effect)
@c5p3593 жыл бұрын
I never slice I fight a hook. I used to be able to hit a nice 10 yard cut and can’t do it anymore
@CogornoGolf3 жыл бұрын
Hey Greg! That should be SIMPLE (maybe not easy) but SIMPLE to fix. I would need to see your swing.....could be several things leading to face being too closed to path.

May need to look at fatigue and focus. Are you eating enough GOOD food? Are you hydrating enough? I would check those first.
