Today's video is a quick one showing a few of the stretches I like using when my hands and forearms feel like rocks. This used to be really bad when I first started BJJ. It's not as bad anymore, but after a hard competition match or during days where we focus on a lot of situational rolling from Back Mount I'll get the locked-up hands a bit.
So, in today's video I share 4 stretches with you that you could use in between matches or after a tough training session.
This list is not exhaustive obviously. But these 4 have been super helpful to me.
So again, I hope they help and thanks for watching.

I always manage to watch your videos at the perfect time. Long days at work (carpentry contractor) these last few weeks have made my hands feels crimped up when I’m trying to relax. Love what you do man, one day I’ll make it out to Derby City and hopefully get to see you in action. Keep on keeping on

Thanks Chewy 💪 - recovering from CTS surgery and just getting my grip strength back, I was off for 5 wks, and now I'm back doing light training for 2wks, going to try these out when I can. You don't realize how important your hands are until you can't use them. Can't wait to be 100% again and compete in BJJ.

I’ve had so much lactic acid in my forearms before that I’ve cried on the side of the mats. Not sure if these stretches will help but I’ll try anything! Thank you for the advice

I have a question about rolling, I'm 58, weigh about 158 and I'm 5'4". When rolling almost everyone is bigger, younger and stronger. A lot of the bigger guys just camp out in my gaurd and just apply their weight. Waiting for me to open my gaurd to try something (out of boredom). Then they continue to smash, pass and submit me. Any thoughts? I apologize if this is the wrong forum to ask you for advice. BTW, 1 stripe blue
