LOL! At my age, the #1 sign I should take a rest day is about 3 minutes after I walked out of the climbing gym!

Convert from road racing here! I thought I can weight train 3-4 times a week and climb 2-3 times a week at the same time as a beginner, because I was training 6 days a week when I was a cyclist. Currently dealing with some kind of forearm overuse/overtraining injury. I still don't know what exactly it is though... I'm taking a few rest days and then rehab + strengthening. Happy climbing :)

When talking about rest I've seen many videos talk about how to prioritize your week, and talk about taking rest days. But I was wondering about how long a sessions should be? How many routes do you typically climb in a sessions, how long do you typically spend at the climbing gym, and how much of that is spent resting? I know you have a video on getting the most out of a 1 hour sessions, but do people typically climb for only one hour, or for longer?

I can only speak for myself, but I usually go 2/3x a week for around 2 1/12 - 3 hours. I usually stop before my skin is too damaged, so it can heal up the next day or two.

How do you tell the difference between tendon pain, muscle pain, joint pain, etc.?

Tendon pain is typically going to be isolated at the tendon insertion points whereas muscle pain is generalized across the muscle.

Nice I was just wondering about this yesterday. I find I'm sore and tired all the time but if I take a full rest day or two I come back and feel like it makes me go back in performance instead of helping it. And takes a couple days to warmup and get ability to bear what it takes on hands and muscles. Better to climb longer sessions and less days or shorter sessions and more days? Side note: A video on food nutrition that helps your performance would be awesome. Some days I drag and know it's what I ate that day maybe lat couple days that is not giving me proper energy. Not sure how to pin point exactly what?

If you feel worse after taking a rest day instead of better, it might be worth talking to a coach

Dislike the paywall to see the entire video, but hey, it's your channel. You do you. Otherwise, enjoy your content. I'm not against premium content. Love that you're doing that. I don't like partial content and require a subscription to finish it. Would be better to simply make the entire video either free or premium, IMO. Hope that makes sense.

Whilst I agree with you and it would be nice to have the full content for free, she have to make money in some ways. Her channel is not big enough for her to be relied on ad sense money. Also, the free content available is still very good so I'm not complaining :)
