is trust's role not to protect your assets? they say tough times create strong men but easy times create weak men. i worked so hard to acquire countless assets i cant trust my kids if i die they will misuse assets, sell them and appear at i blew it, broke as if they never had a father. cant i just set up a trust and appoint a juridistic person as a trustee to ensure that my wishes are taken care of and beneficiaries (kids) can just benefit from a trust without having to sell everything i worked for, the reason why most africans dont build wealth is the fear that when they die the kids wont keep a legacy alive the are people out there their parents had farms, properties, commercial vehicles kids sold everything drank money with girls and there is nothing today. guys legacy must be kept alive founders of most famous companies in the world died long time ago but their legacy lives on e,g apple inc and coca cola founders are no more but their hardworked legacy lives on, so can a trust achieve that if not what will?
