Antonio -- I've been practicing law on the East coast since 1986, and have worked for large law firms as well as for government agencies (as a prosecutor), which means I've generally had to tie one of these fucking nooses around my neck almost every day. In my view, there is no need for anything more complicated than the basic "four in hand" knot. All that extra folding and wrapping with the other knots is unnecessary, and typically ends up in your having to start over and re-do it -- sometimes several times -- because it will come out too short or too long when you're done. Better to keep it simple. On the other hand, if someone really wants all those extra folds and can make it come out the right length without re-doing it, then fine, but I'd recommend picking ONE knot and using that one all the time. Speaking of length, most professionals I've dealt with over the years (including myself) go with a slightly longer length than you recommend, so that the tip extends to the bottom of the belt buckle or even slightly below, which I think looks better than the shorter length you suggest, mostly because it makes the man appear slightly taller. Try it and see what you think. (I'm a subscriber and enjoy your videos.)

Best video on the subject IMO. I use both the (Half Windsor/Full Depending on several variables, the look i want or the length and material of tie. The more formal or professional look I want will determine if put a dimple at the top, that shows details and a clean triangle. I am 254 lbs and 6' tall with a 20 inch neck. Also paired with a traditional collar as opposed to the spread collar. (big neck = traditional collar, pencil = neck spread collar) IMO
