I too just broke up with my boyfriend of 16 years! Although he actually went to church with me He is not a Godly man and that was really hard for me to accept.So either God Himself works a miracle in that man's life Or I keep going forward Hoping to meet a true genuine Godly man! A man who He's not afraid to be open with his praise and worship.And actually does read his Bible and wants to go to Christian activities and classes.

I don't know if your a man or women, but that's irrelevant. In this world it kinda does matter what you believe when sharing your life with another person, but at the same time it doesn't. You can meet a person at your same church and think differently, as you can also find someone at a party that doesn't have the same believes as you but still think alike. It's a 50/50 chance, probably less than that. But the important thing is to be open, be real, express what you think or believe since the beginning so the person that decides to keep going out with you knows exactly what you stand for. And ENJOY, HAVE FUN, go out, dance or try to, laugh, be you, enjoy this mistery called "Life". With or without someone else, with or without god, you should just, look to be happy. If you're happy with yourself, you'll get comfortable with yourself, and that's all you really "need". When you get to that feeling, you won't be thinking about the best experiences of your life as "lust" or "sins". Love yourself.

I am married and coming up on two years of marriage. In my experience at least, when you are looking for a husband or wife, I've found that the best place to be personally is to make sure you've reflected on your own spiritual contentment in the Lord. In every case I've seen, whether they were friends or family to me, they found the person they married only once they had given up trying to actively seek and we're focusing on being content in their relationship with God. God definitely wants not only your heart to be right with him but to also have your priorities in order and God has to be first before anyone or your relationship with your spouse will also be all out of balance. God has to be center for there to be harmony and true contentment in a home and a marriage.

This just came at such a perfect time for me! Honestly, even though I'm still in high school, most of the guys that like me and talk to me don't have any respect and I was talking to a guy today in one of my classes who likes me, and I just felt so uncomfortable because he just kinda talked down on me (which is something that I've noticed guys like to do... Lol), and it was just so discouraging. On the other hand, a few weeks ago, my church had this youth gathering and some people from a dif state came. Well we were having a bonfire and everyone that was sitting around me just randomly left somewhere so I was sitting alone. Then this guy sitting across from me stands up and walks over and starts talking to me. It was just soo sweet and made me relaize that not just 'bad guys' are attracted to me. We never exchanged numbers or anything but I always have him in mind when I get discouraged that there are good men out there who truly are insterested in PURSUING me. And that applies to all of you girls, not just me. You're all worthy of commited, passionate pursuit. Don't get discouraged by some guys along the way. Just thought to encourage someone. 💕

What if a person has all those qualities you're looking for but doesn't believe in God? Believes in another god or none. @hanaha.76105 жыл бұрын
@@brianivan. Hey brian, I know the question isn't directed at me but thought I would give my 2 cents. Being a Christian is a prerequisite but it is not enough. There are wonderful guys out there and a lot of good people who are not Christians(I personally know some great people who are atheist). So there indeed exist guys with all these qualities, but are not Christians. Having a real Christian spouse is more to be able to lift each other up spiritually, pray together, have family bible time,... not walking alone in our faith. It is about believing in christ's sacrifice, salvation and in the promise God made to us. For us Christians, our faith is what gets us through the hard times, the pain, the lost. If tomorrow the one I marry dies, cheats on me, etc. , I will still be OK, even if I am sad because I have my faith. There are billions of people on this planet... does a true believer really think their god is so small that he can't get them a man who is a Christian and with whom they have great chemistry and common values? ;) So to answer your questions, the answer is no to both.
@brianivan.5 жыл бұрын
@@hanaha.7610 Well, I'm soory to say that you *may* loose the opportunity to build a life alongside a person that could be "deserving" of your time, support, and love simply because he (or she) doesn't believe in the same god as you. The person could be more than willing to always do you right, be loyal and so much more. Let's be real, anyone can be a "real christian" now a days by their own standards. If they cheat, abuse (physically, emotionally or mentally), or commit any other wrong and disgusting doings, they'll still keep praying and going to church. Don't discard a person with the purest of intentions towards you and the rest of the people just because the person doesn't believe in the same god as you. Or if the person doesn't believe in any gods. Or even doesn't believe in god as strongly as you do or would like. It's sad to let go of someone that may be "best" for you just because they don't think exactly the same way you do. We all have differences. Different tastes, different views, we're all different. Not believing is just another difference in opinion. And its sad to do the same the other way around. A person that believes in another god or doesn't believe in any other gods discarding you simply because you believe in God is just as bad in my point of view. When you really are interested in giving all your support and love to build a life together, it doesn't matter if you pray saying the same lines and words. Or if one prays and the other doesn't. It's like getting to know a person who speaks spanish for example, he (or she) will obviously have a different culture. You'll get to discover different things about the person, you'll like and dislike some of the things that person's culture has.

Awesome! Thanks Paul. I especially love the idea of writing a list of what you don't want. I never thought of that. There are actually a number of godly guys in my church, and I get along well with all of them. It's mostly just a case of all of us needing to mature before we're ready for the next step of marriage. For me, one of the big things I'd be looking for in a man is someone open to go and do whatever God wants them to do, even if doing that thing or going to that place (or both) is massively uncomfortable. I wanted to challenge you (just a little bit) on your point about putting yourself out there. While I completely agree it's important to get busy doing God's work, which also involves interacting with others in the church, I don't necessarily think we as girls need to try to manipulate the situation. Disclaimer: you may not even have meant that we need to, but these are my thoughts. I don't even see that we need to be actively looking for someone when we interact with others. For my parents, it wasn't until my mum stopped looking that she met my Dad, and from there it just happened organically. They became friends and the rest is history! On the other hand, if we are actively a part of the church and doing God's work, we will meet people as a byproduct of that. (Assuming it's God's plan for us to marry, which it may not be). If a guy is interested in me, it's important to me that he has the courage to make the first move, but I don't feel it's my job to try and push the situation any more than simply being friends with him. Otherwise I may end up pushing too hard to "win" a guy that God doesn't even want me to be with and missing the man he does want me to marry! I'm a huge believer in God orchestrating our love stories depending on what he wants to do with us for his glory :) God bless, and thanks as ever for your channel!

If a guy is serving in the house of the Lord, volunteering his time sacrificially and actively making a difference by serving others, he attracts my attention. They are godly men but they are attracted to women who are NOT saved and not godly. I don't really want to lower my standards and dress immodestly to get their attention because i want to honor God with how i dress and conduct myself. It is very disenheartening to try to talk to a godly guy, only for him to be more enticed by a girl who is of the world or not wholesome. You can be alluring and sexy without dressing scantily clad. Work on your femininity, your smise, graceful movements. Do your best to put out an energy that is fun and exuberant. These are things that men find attractive and work on your shape too. Since men are visible creatures, being fit is a great asset regardless of how you dress. Try these things if you haven't already and always be confident. Men and women alike can sense desperation so always put out a subtle confident energy. Hope this helps!

A lot of Christian men give up on Christian women and I'm one of those guys. I'll probably never date a Christian woman due to their high unrealistic standards. The rudest women I've ever met in my life are Christian women in the church. The nicest and sweetest girls I've ever met are agnostic/ don't pay much attention to God. A lot of Christian guys date non believers because they can't meet these "high standards" that Paul promotes and most millenial man-bashing churches promote and then you have countless single Christian women sad and lonely and you got Christian guys like myself going for non Christian women because we know she won't be "ticking off a list" if I meet or don't meet.

Hi! This is a great video to show my teenaged daughter. Back in the 90s they didn't have social media or dating sites. You had to meet someone the old fashioned way. The problem I noticed with meeting godly guys at church back then, was you would have about 5-10 decent looking godly guys and about 25-30 young women in the youth group or college and career group kind of fighting over them. Then those guys could be extremely picky abt who they liked and always went for the "hottest" girl, not necessarily the godliest woman. So then the "sweet girl next door" type would have to wait years to meet someone or settle for a bad boy. I saw this happen time and again in church. You would have a bunch of beautiful, single thirty-something year old women still waiting for their Boaz. Unfortunately, I didn't want to be like that, so I settled for a couple of bad boy relationships. Maybe finding a godly guy is easier now a days for women. I read all the books back then like "Passion and Purity" "Lady in Waiting" "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" etc. and still didn't meet my Boaz type guy. Maybe I was too picky or maybe God would have brought him when I was older, but when you're a woman in your 20s and all your friends are getting engaged and married, you definitely feel the pressure to compromise. I hope my daughter can find a great, godly husband and avoid all the pitfalls I went through.

Jenn did you never get married? It's different nowadays because the average looking women can get like 1000+ matches in a few days on a dating app lol but of course those are plagued with horrible men so many women get caught up in that.

Paul and Morgan I’m in Medjugorie and the experience is bringing me back to God. Firstly, I’m going to begin praying to Mother Teresa and she will intercede on my behalf to God. She was a wonderful woman and I am so glad to have known about her growing up. I did a report on her for school and I really feel a spiritual connection to her. Once I’m back in the States, I’m going to make a huge change in my life and the lives of my family members. I am needed and I will make myself useful and finally grow into the woman I can be proud of. Then, my man will come. I just know it!
@wellwhoknows95675 жыл бұрын
@@coffeechocolate1026you dont need to get anyone else to intercede on behalf of you and God. In fact, that is a very dangerous idea. God wants you to talk to Him. Just go straight to Him. Read your Bible and pray everyday and grow close to Him. He is your Heavenly Father and wants to hear from you. He loves you!

Here’s the tough thing: Not only am I 38 years old, I will be officially divorced in about 1 months time (domestic violence survivor) and I have 2 special needs kids. Do to Covid and job loss, I have moved back with my mother. What man my age would not only be available, but would find any of my life circumstances appealing? Most solid, healthy, creative Christian men are snapped up before 30. I’m pushing 40, and most single men my age are single for mostly not good reasons. How do I navigate these obstacles while also wanting a genuine connection?

Also, do you think it is wrong that I have changed my mindset about how I pray for a future husband? I used to pray about a man who was involved in ministry since i am called to missions and have been active in ministry as well. I thought i would meet a guy who was in ministry. But all the suitable or eligible men in church that I know won't give me a chance or do not seem interested in me at all whatsoever. So i have been praying that if my future husband is someone that hasn't gotten saved and in church yet, that God will bring him to know the Gospel and maybe later, we may meet one another. I don't believe in dating a nom-Christian, but it seems like guys who have come out of that lifestyle to know Christ appreciate church girls because they've "been there, done that." They seem to recognize the difference between what the world has, and what God has to offer. Whereas sometimes in my case in particular, i feel like church guys haven't really been in the world in that sort lifestyle, so they are drawn to women perhaps that aren't in church? Does that make sense?
@febe51184 жыл бұрын
I once had this thought, too...and had felt more connected with guys outside the church just because they would discuss real-life struggles (compared to some of church guys I knew who would only recite what the pastors said and not all of them examine their own lives according to the hard truth of Scriptures anyway). But years passed by and I think it comes down to a person's character. A (potential) true Christian would have genuine desire for truth, less desire to judge others too quickly. When being presented to a mindblowing fact from the Bible, he/she would probably not immediately believe, but still, appreciate and ponder about it. (I will actually question people who immediately believe without having that 'clash' with his/her former worldview, but again, there's no fixated formula when it comes to see transformation in people. We have to be patient) After all, changing hearts is Holy Spirit's works, we just gotta do our part :) and let ourselves be sanctified too,, day by day!

One major thing I'm looking for in a husband besides being a God fearing man, is open with me about everything and feeling like he can trust me. Do you guys have any advice on how to get a guy to open up?
@katiedrake765 жыл бұрын
Be open yourself. Build a solid bond of trust between the two of you with friendship and honesty. Let him know it's safe to be vulnerable with you. But most of all, just give it a little time. You can't force a man to be vulnerable with you before they're ready, just like they shouldn't force you to be. It isn't much but I hope this helps 😊

Young men who are Christian no longer feel comfortable, welcomed or at home in church so we just stop going. Now church is old men, old women, massive amounts of women single in their 20s and 30s and then children. The young single Christian men have left the building figuratively and literally.

Paul can I just ask... How do you stop men that you see as brothers in Christ from thinking you're interested in them when you want to just be friends? I seem to have the problem that I want to get to know guys and be friends but for some reason they panic and stop wanting me in their world. I'm not intense or demanding or pushy I just am kind and invite them along to group events or every few weeks might send a message to say hi but they push away which then makes it hard to meet more guys as no one wants to chat or hang or anything. I know I'm not a stunningly gorgeous girl but why do guys do that? I know other girls that throw themselves at men and the men surround them!! What do you think I'm doing wrong? I believe that building friendships is the first step in finding relationships but I can't even find friendships that last long with guys!!
