@primiemshore44978 ай бұрын
Intentionally look for them, there is tonnes of Godly (Christian) resources out there. books, podcasts and sermons alike. Pstor Steven has a lot of videos from past years, that's actually how I got to know about him. Ps Mike Todd has the original Relationship Goals 8 part series which was a real blessing. Ps Ben Stuart's Single Dating Engaged Married book and sermons, really good. Ps Jonathan Pokluda's book Outdated and other material.....these are just a few that helped me, there's a whole lot more here on YT. I pray you find the right resources

It’s difficult because the Bible doesn’t specifically reference dating. There is a great book called Single, Dating, Married and I Highly recommend!! Wonderful insight and takes you to scripture for wisdom and direction.

I love this part. Holding off kissing. It's almost like fasting. Giving everything to God and waiting patiently. Because He is the center not any event. It's about honor. Being led by the Spirit. And it's a form of trust!

What a great way to look at dating. What a beautiful day when they marry. One beautiful surprise to stay innocent until the wedding day. A man like that not pressuring his intended is unbelievable. Wish I would have had one like that. Maybe my marriage would have turned out better than it did. I totally agree with that entire concept. We need boundaries and that is a great one in every way. No having to get married cause of pregnancy. Just.clean living and nothing to feel guilt or shame about. I love it! ❤️ ❤❤

Its the exact kind of thing I've been praying about, after awhile of online dating, I've really grown sick of it. I keep asking God to show me or guide me to find the one he has planned for me. I even held off dating apps for a long time and now I'm thinking about it again. I know I shouldn't rush God since He always does things in His own time and sometimes I think He just knows that I'm not ready yet. 😢

I have a question. If we want to save ourselves for our future spouse and take this advice from this video. We decide not date and focus on our relationship with God, become a godly man or godly woman…how will we find that person or know that we’ve met that person if we don’t date? Cause dating people gives you that opportunity to find that person…so if you’re not going to date how will God bring someone into your life and how will you know?

I mean I’m Christian and I’m with someone who doesn’t believe in anything and we’ve been together for 4 years. It’s the healthiest relationship I’ve been in. He’s the most understand person I’ve ever met and we just respect each other and communicate. I have a relationship with God and just because he doesn’t, doesn’t mean I’m gonna throw a great relationship away. So every relationship looks different with everyone. It’s not just one way or the other, it’s however you feel at the end of the day.

I am in a similar situation with someone who identifies as atheist and honestly it is so far so good. I was told something.. that we should date people based on their character... not by chemistry, personality, or traits told alone. Character and values of that person speaks bounds ❤

There's a reason that the Bible says don't be unevenly yoked. Also, you are playing house...not even in the same league as marital commitment , under the rules of God. I'm sure it appears equal like your secular friends' marriages, and it probably is. But it will never grow any bigger; uneven maintains, but doesn't thrive. You're only stunting your own life potential
@jaidynsweirdnessisshowing1988 ай бұрын
@@michelemoser5592 That’s fine that you feel that way. We all have our different beliefs/opinions/feelings. We all have a right to be ourselves. I’m just trying to show that you don’t have to be a certain way to have a relationship with God. God loves us for who we are and that’s what i believe:)

@Storieswithlolli-2472 ай бұрын
I think it depends on how you view dating and marriage. If I was going to apply for a job at Delta, and I was able to talk and listen to a person who had worked there for 22 years-knew all the ins and outs, knew a lot they didn’t know before they walked in the door of Delta, I would LOVE to listen and gain wisdom from them. I think if you are dating with the intent to find a person to marry, the same applies. Why would you now want to glean from someone who had walked the journey, who had seen the other side, and who could say “wow, wish I could redo this, or I would change that. Or yes this really worked for me”. I enjoyed his insight, and feel he wasn’t saying it from the heart of “the Bible says this is the ONLY way to date, and it’s the right way.” He was more saying from experience this was the way he chose, and he is very thankful he walked in it.

This is 2024. At this point, American culture is so upside down that almost the only thing that makes sense, is to get your passport and get to other regions of the world where the prevailing culture is very different. In my case, after years of looking, I finally found the right girl. The only time in my life I’ve ever heard God speak to me about a girl, is about her. What God spoke to me was is that she would recognize me as her leader. That’s really the only thing I needed to know. What’s ironic, is that we have conversations where she actually refers to me as her king. This is someone from an eastern European culture. This notion goes back in their culture many generations. At the same time it’s a challenge for the man. Because the man has to show up prepared to lead. This is not a fantasy, it’s real life. From the aspect of physical beauty, they tend to have a lower body mass index. It’s more typical that they are thin. Also, don’t be surprised if they’re more highly educated than you are As with anything, your mileage may vary……… One of you in this video makes reference to the book, I kissed dating goodbye. What’s regrettable, is the man that authored that book, has not only rejected the premise of it, he has left Christianity altogether.
