Also a classic tip that I would add, is to EQ the right frequencies of your track. e.g. If your track is on E, small punch on the kick at 41,203 Hz and remove a bit of this frequency on the sub and boost the sub at 82,407 Hz and remove a bit of this frequency on the kick (Tip from John Christian)

Pay attention to your reverbs (too many with different amounts or samples drenched in reverb can smear the sound), use a correlation meter to see if your sounds are already wide or too wide (some samples and synths are already too wide as it is) and keep things simple (don’t overdo your sections)

just watched thefabfilter Saturn like a pro vid. cant help but wonder if saturation would help????
@DanielDenitro4 жыл бұрын
Aww maan!! I wish you would have really just left the compressor off for a little longer so we could hear the DIFFERENCE at 6:52 That would really help me understand it more, so would understanding anything better be an easier way to do it as well. Brain works by comparing stuff, that's how we perceive, would have made this video 10/10. It's seriously 9/10 compared to all the 5/10 or less on KZbin right now buddy.

I have one question. Isn't the bit with the lows compression with MB wrong? Just because it is constantly reducing gain, and it isn't recovering. Thanks!
