Nice job! I had totally forgotten about Cafe Blue so thanks for the reminder! I believe Koffie Ende Koek has appeltaart and other sweet treats, and it's totally vegan.

Thanks! I had checked them out online but it wasn't listed on the website. I'll go in person sometime to confirm and do a KZbin Short and link it here.

Everything looked quite good especially the vegan pancakes! Even though I'm not vegan, it is really great how the vegan alternatives taste very similar to the original.

That's what surprised me, as well. I really appreciate when places make an effort. I have had friends asked to meet up for lunch or brunch and because they are vegan, I can't usually just say "oh, i love this place!" Because they probably don't have vegan options. My favorite brunch spot does, though, so that's nice! Greenwoods, in case you needed to know 😊

Very much enjoyed your video on vegan Amsterdam. Might you be able to point out vegan options in the supermarche, like Albert Heijn? How about food markets other than Albert Kuipmarkt? How might Amsterdam's vegan options compare with Utrech and other Dutch cities? Not to overlook Vegan cheese?

Thanks! I'll see what I can do with these suggestions 😊

Yes, excellent that you're giving the Vega/Vegan side of food the attention it needs to get! And yes by all means please continue your Vega/Vegan quest and especially the foods that really are tasty and easy to eat for people whom are not particular Vega/Vegan, like those Bitterballen! And indeed, let's face it a Zak Patat is easily a Vega/Vegan meal, especially with Vega/Vegan Mayo :-) I mean, how easy can a Vegan meal be, right? It really doesn't need to be hyper alternative and strange foods, it actually can be very common and normal foods, we all eat regularly. Now that's the kind of footage I'd like to see; you eating very very normal foods, and yet Vega/Vegan. 😃👍

I would still like to find a vegan appeltaart, and a fresh stroopwafel would be amazing!

@@aWanderlustForLife Well 2 minutes on google with the search words: "vegan appeltaart restaurant amsterdam" provided me with several options just like another 2 minutes on google with the search words: "vegan stroopwafel vers restaurant amsterdam" So yeah, I'd say google can be handy in cases like this ;-)

I do a lot of research before any of these videos. I've yet to find one of those vegan bakeries with appeltaart on the menu. I may have missed one, but of course I checked.

If you want it to be Dutch you have to put stroop on your pancakes though, not sugar.

Wow, I was surprised when you said you weren't actually a Vegan. Respect to you for making a video about Vegan food ✌

I figure, even as a non-vegan, it's easy for me to eat vegan food. So I want to create resources so everyone can enjoy food. I also realize that people who eat meat might have an aversion to a place with all vegan food or even the vegan options. So, I hope I can open some minds. I've found a few more vegan restaurants I can't wait to share that I've loved and shared with non-vegan friends as well.

❤ nice video, although I am not vegan, it is cool these options are available. With pannenkoeken i normally put the pannenkoek in between the vork and start rolling. The panecake rolls up to a tube and then you can easily cut a piece from it and eat it with knife and vork. You seem to cut it like a pizza. Nice to see the difference, both ways work I suppose. 😊

Ah! Of one my favorite cities! I don't know the percentage of population that are vegan, but considering how international the city is, it's so nice to have so many options that everyone can enjoy 😊

What is most famous vegetarian food cooked at home over there, please make few recipe videos.
@aWanderlustForLife8 ай бұрын
Dutch food isn't known for being vegetarian, so I'm not sure. Unfortunately, I don't create recipe videos, but I hope you find what you're looking for!

@@aWanderlustForLife in the world our Indian food is the only food which is vegetarian and the best in the taste of all recipes. Like butter paneer (cottage cheese), Daal, kadhi (Gram flour with yogurt with gram flour fried balls)

That's so cool! And I'm glad I could help, even in a small way. If you come to Amsterdam, I do have other vegan videos that you can check out. Sadly a few spots closed recently, but will still give you an idea of what we have. We have so many vegan spots that span so many cuisines.

@@aWanderlustForLifeTy! I will def check them out. Hoping to visit the Netherlands in the future fs. I know you said you aren’t vegan but have you tried KitKat V by Nestle? I just found out about them seeing as I live in the US and immediately ordered some from a candy shop in Poland cause I just have to try🤤😂 We have lots of vegan alternatives here but actually having a real brand vegan version of something is insanely rare.

Thank you for all those informative videos that you put out and is greatly appreciated. Yes, I do have a question for you. How would one know where and which bus, tram or metro to take to a destination that one wants to go to. Is there an Apps for this?
@aWanderlustForLife Жыл бұрын
Yep! The GVB app for Amsterdam. You can even buy tickets on it and it's available in English. gvb.nl is the website. You can also just use a contactless card for the all the transportation now, but the app can still help you plan.
