The best i ever saw at cutting angles was probably Julio Chavez sr. His stance was almost squared up, gave him incredible flexibility in matching his opponents footwork. His headwork, blocking, and parrying defense was unreal. This also allowed him to cover insane distance against runners.

The angle game is a game of steps. You need to take 3 steps to throw a significant strike. When you change angle you steal a step, because you force your opponent to take a step to reset to you.

4:22 this reminds me of Jeff Chans kicks where hes almost jumping to th3 side and letting the trailing leg slam into the body as he is moving away. LOVE the southpaw tips! The V Step is exactly what i use when throwing the Jab Jab Overhand from southpaw. Moving to the weak side and the bodies momentum is added to the power overhand while also being fairly safe when you finish.
