It part of being human to be sad and frightened at difficult times in our life. Even Jesus was sad and cried sometimes. Prayer and trust in God will help you through. I'll say a prayer for you right now too.

I remember reading about a man who was very ill, having to undergo surgery and his wife was scared. He told her that if he pulled through the surgery, he was safe with her. If not, then he was safe with Jesus. Either way, he was going to be okay. Your fear is normal, but remember that your father will be cared for no matter the outcome. So will you. I will pray for both of you.

I've been in your shoes with my own father. By the gra e of God, he pulled through. It's very very hard to leave things in God's hands. As a family we all would pray for God's will to be done and that we would expect whatever that may be. God loves you.

Hello from Puerto Rico 🙏 thank u for this inspiration. Your very right Father ; the closer I get to my Lord Jesus Christ, the more I am learning that I have to put situations in his hands and whatever Jesus Christ wants will happen when Jesus Christ sees fit to provide . I worry a lot less now . Yes why pray to just worry . Right now going through lots of health issues but I have told Jesus Christ that I accept whatever comes my way but to help me grow as a better Catholic. You say those things like they are easy to do, when in reality, they aren’t. It’s especially hard in my case because God hasn’t yet heard the prayers that I have offered. I struggle to want to go to God with anything because nothing I’ve approached Him with has been acknowledged. I could shout those things at the top of my lungs and nothing would change. What sense does it make to keep speaking when I’ll never be heard?

He has heard your prayers. He knows your prayer requests before you do! Sometimes, God’s answer is “no.” Best to say, “God, I have this issue, and I am going to just give it to You.” Then trust that God will do what He wills and knows is best, not only for you, but for the bigger picture for which we don’t have a clue what’s going on. Sometimes your situation is meant to help or discipline another person. It’s not always just about you. Love and peace to you, and Prayers up for you!🙏🏼💕💜
